Mangold says it's looks good in playing sunday

Hopefully, he's looking "slow" rather than "good" on Sunday.

Good now the jets cant say they did not have there best player after the pats beat them

Just like Hernandez, he won't be 100 percent if he does play.

Risky call on their part; if I was them, I'd want no part in having Mangold out there with that injury at less than 100%. My gut says that they might not have played them if they'd won last week, but who knows.

this is why i want haynesworth out there...he should be able to exploit a less than 100% mangold

I want Wilfork or Haynesworth (or both) going at him every play if he does play. Test that injury from start to finish, wear him down, and get in Sanchez's face right up the middle.

If Jets lose this game, they fo 2-3, thats a steep hole to climb out of

He was on the field and tried to go last sunday. If he is that close another week i am sure he will be ready.

G. Warren had 2 sacks on the Val the duck at gaurd. He got benched later. that guy is in there and i see a good much up there for us too.

anderson has a low - low profile a thing hunter struggles against.

we do have some matchup to will. the problem is our ILB , if you let your DL go then you want your ILB to able to stop the run. a reason we ask our DT to stay back a bit.

I'd imagine if he does play he'll be significantly hampered by the lingering effect of his injury. High sprains are a pain in the ass.

Based on how Mangold looked on Sunday night, I wonder how effective the guy can be. I think this might be a desperation move by the Jets. They might think a far less than 100% Mangold is better than Baxter.

If he does play like he looked on Sunday, he risks getting an even worse injury because he will need to favor that leg and when you favor a leg you can severely injury yourself on the other leg. I know he is a tough son of a biatch, but does he want to risk it for just one game even against your most hated enemy?

He looked a few weeks away from being ready when NBC were showing him pre-game on Sunday, so with that in mind have Wilfork & Haynesworth line up right over him - one on each shoulder then at the snap have both of them drive into him, see how he holds up with those 2 on him...then throw in some double A gap blitzes, he didn't look anywhere close to being as quick or explosive as he needs to be so this should be exploited.

Another example of their crappy depth coming back to bite them.

Mangold at 50% is probably better than baxter. Didt he screw up like 3 snaps or were some of them sanchiz's fault?

A 50% healthy Mangold is probably far better than Baxter. If only because Mangold handles the line calls.

Both looked like Sanchez's fault - the first one he moved his hands away before the ball got there and the shotgun snap while a bit high should still have been routine.

A 50% Mangold is probably better than Baxter, but 0% Mangold because he reinjures himself even worse than he did orginally is a deathnail for the Jets.

I am just saying that if the Jets are rushing him back because the Jets are on a two game losing skid and they are playing the Pats, this move can come back to bite them in the arse. A player playing with an injury that isn't healed enough could be a ticking time bomb.

Look what happened to Mayo a few years ago. He rushed back from a MCL sprain and he was mediocre then entire rest of the season. He might have rebounded if he waited a week or two to play.

He will be nowhere near 100% if he plays which he will

New England should test him with stunts, double bull rushes by Wilfork/Haynesworth, and with multiple A gap blitzes. Let's see if the ankle can hold up under that kind of varied assault.

If Haynesworth IS indeed playing, then yeah...I'm 100% sold on A gap blitzes all night until Sansexualassaulter is beaten to a pulp...sorry, I really cannot stomach even LOOKING at this little jumpy punk, look at me!!! cretin. The Ravens beat him silly and turned him into a little Tooter Turtle last week....maybe the Pats make turtle soup out of him this week.
