What was your favourite?

Which Boston Championship Ring From the 2000s Would You Most Want to Own? - NESN Nation - NESN.com

And what do you think is the best ring design?

I voted Pats first superBowl as the ring id like to own the most, but think the best design out of all the ring was the 3rd Pats ring with the depiction of the 3 Lombardi's.

looking at the results i was a bit shocked to see how popular the Bruins win was, im a B's fan myself and was delirious with the Stanley cup but cant believe its so far ahead of any of the Pats superbowls in terms of popularity!

Ps sorry if this has already been posted in the past - i havent seen it scrolling through the existing topics.

Why are you shocked by the poll? It's NESN. NESN = Red Sox and Bruins Broadcast Station. Red Sox/B's honks....especially Sox. That poll smells to high heaven....much like the Sox F.O.

My favorite had to be the Major League Lacrosse Championship that the Boston team won a few weeks back. :)

Surveys such as this are not exactly scientific polls. When questions like this are asked many fans go with the response that comes to their head first, which would be the most recent championship in this case - which is the Bruins. It's just like if you ask fans who their favorite team is their answers will vary depending on what time of year the survey is taken, and whether the team won or lost last week.

As gratifying as that was after such a long drought for the Bruins, if people genuinely thought about the question before answering it would probably rank third at best. Red Sox in 2004 and Pats in 2001 should rank above winning that Stanley Cup.

2001 Pats

I'd trade both World Series titles for 1 additional Superbowl. And I wouldn't think twice about it.

Ring I would most like to own

Pats 2001 - Senitmental meaning is through the roof.

But I got to admit I think this Bruins ring might be the best of all 7.

I love the way the spoked B over the Stanley looks on the front and there is something charming about the Black and Gold getting their Gold rings (even if it is a combo of white gold and Gold gold)

As far as order of significance in my Mind
Pats 2001 Senitmental meaning is through the roof.
Pats 2004 Dynasty 3 out of 4
Pats 2003 Guess I really like the Pats
Red Sox 2004 Senitmental meaning is through the roof.
Bruins 2011 What can I say Hockey is my second favorite sport just hard to top the 04 redsox and despite hockey being my second favorite sport I am a little more obsessed about the Sox.
Red Sox 2007
Celtics 2008

Having Said all of that none of the above are my favorite ring because my favorite ring is THE NEXT ONE

Baseball blows, it's embarrassing how much money the Red Sux put into that team for how little pendants they have.

Would love to see all 7 Rings together all in a pretty row. Would make that my wallpaper. Or better yet in a circle you know a ring of rings.

OK so I went ahead and created a crappy version myself using paint.

I couldnt find all the Rings with the same background.

I couldnt find patriots rings with black backgrounds
and
I couldnt find Celts or Bruins with white backgrounds

anyway I went the blacks excpet the pats I went with one that had all 3 against blue. I am sure people are out there laughing at how bad I put this together. Well let me add to your pleasure by noting I work in IT and I should be capable of so much better I just dont do much with images.

I went on a replica hunt a few months ago... there's a replica of the 2001 being sold for like $170... was tempted.

The question is "what was your favorite" so I don't see how the Bruins should rank third at best. Hockey is my favorite sport and I'd say it was the best one for a number of reasons. It's the only sport I've ever played, it's the hardest trophy to win, and I waited the longest to see it. I'd follow it closely with the 01 Pats then 04 Red Sox.

Why? IMHO it is the best by far. That is because Hockey is my number 1 sport. If football is your number 1 sport that the Pats should be top 3, and so forth with the other sports.

My favorite title runs so far have been

1. Bruins 2011
2. Pats 2003- my favorite Pats season of all time
3. Sox 04
4. Pats 01
5. Pats 04(still think that is the best Pats team of all time)
6. Red Sox 07
7. Celtics 08

Again that is my opinion. I also would never tell someone that if thought genuinely that some other list should be the right one.
