Tony Romo completely gives the ham sandwich to Jerry Jones, this is a HORRIBLE thing for Jerry to allow, imagine what will happen if Jones doesn’t make an example out of him, EVERYTHING will get out of control. For the good of the team Jones MUST act, and act decisively!:D

I say we help him with his issue, we have a young QB who Jones can build a team around! Mallett has been a model pupil in his time here, he's a much better risk than Romo, who's a proven failure.

C'mon Jerry, offer us a DeMarcus Ware and some picks and we'll give you Mallett and also throw in Cannon to protect him! People will think of you as a visionary, c'mon, let's make it happen!

Dumbest Thread of the Year has a new contender.

Jones does love his Razorbacks but giving up Demarcus Ware.........I think he's more likely to bring Andre Ware out of retirement.

Mallet is our aaron rodgers....to learn under brady for the next 4 years so we arent in the same situation as the Miami Dolphins after Dan Marino retired...

The cowboys will live and die with Romo..

I just don’t feel the love for Mallett, something tells me that deep down he HATES the dinking/dunking way our offense is constructed, and that he really wants to be on a team where he can use that big arm and really throw it downfield. I think Stanzi would be a much better fit to be our Rodgers.

If Jones doesnt want to part with Ware I'm sure we can work out something else.

Please God, make it stop.

The cowboys are still in contention.I do wonder if the vikings would be willing to part with Jared Allen.I would give them this year's first round pick and a second rounder.

Romo isn't on the way out. The Cowboys have two weeks to get their act back together before playing us. It'll be no cakewalk.

I don't think Romo is on his way out. I do think Jones will probably go for a QB in the draft to light a fire under him.

This would probably never happen and sounds like a FFL trade, but a quick fix that I believe would work for both teams would be for the Cowboys and Chiefs to swap QBs'.

Dallas has enough talent that they don't need an elite QB to win, just someone who is a little bit better than a game manager who can make good decisions. That describes Cassell almost exactly.

Pioli it seems is running out of time in K.C., Romo for all his faults is probably one of the most gifted QB's in NFL, until the pressure is truly on. Romo could probably get more out of the K.C. offense than Cassell, but at much greater risk. Which at this point is about all the Chiefs have going.

Neither one of these teams are likely bad enough to draft Luck, and developing someone like Mallett will take a couple of years, in the meantime ...

Romo definitely has the stigma of being a "choke artist", but so far this season, I'd put a lot of the blame on the OC for terrible play-calling. You're up three scores and still chucking the ball all over the field? That's football fundamentals 101. You protect a lead by running the ball and killing the clock. For the record, Minnesota also needs to revisit this fundamental logic of protecting a lead.

Yea, he was picked at inopprotune times this season for sure. But this is what happens when you're pass-happy against a desperate Defense. The D is looking for any big play they can in that scenerio and will be trying to jump routes at any opportunity to force a turnover. I'm not saying none of the blame goes to Romo, but you can definitely make the argument that not ALL of it is his. I'm no Cowboys fan, but I've always felt that Romo got a bad rap. He's a good QB, and Cowboys fans should feel lucky they have him behind center. They wouldn't be half as successful as they've been without him. Just my opinion.
