Good and bad news on Mayo from Tom E Curran

How does he know so soon?

Curran is tight with Mayo

He has Mayo on weekly on his Quick Slants program

He probably got word right from the horses mouth

The way he was limping it looked like a torn ligament. What's weird tho, if you look at the replay, he wasn't in the pile at all and he was walking a fine a few seconds after the play. All of a sudden he is limping and on the ground.

98.5 says only out a month..not bad

Is Mayo made of glass yet?

I am starting to believe that a good portion of this team is made of glass.
Of the seven players that didn't play today, only one player was a healthy scratch.

Patriots 31, Raiders 19: Post-game report - Extra Points - Boston.com

INJURY REPORT

LB Jerod Mayo (left MCL sprain): This is the type of injury where it depends on how quickly the player heals. A league source said a month is likely, but Aaron Hernandez had the same injury and hopes to be back this week. Anywhere from two to six weeks.
DT Kyle Love (knee): Returned to the game and said he was fine after the game.
RB Danny Woodhead (left ankle): Did not return.
LB Rob Ninkovich (right leg): Did not return. Said he was just sore after the game. This is something he’s been dealing with for a while.

I'll take it- definitely feared that it would be worse when I heard that he was carted to the locker room. A month sucks, but the Pats can weather that loss.

Considering that we have a bye coming up after the DAL game in 2 weeks, I think this is the best case scenario that we could possibly hope for.

I have heard now from a couple of sources that Guyton will take his place, but wouldn't Fletcher also be a candidate? And maybe even a better one?

get well soon Mayo this team need you for the playoff run, it's time for Spikes to step up

I guess this means we'll be giving up 600 yards a game and not 500.

as long as they win, I could care less...not that I want to ever SEE that against a turd filled refuse bucket team like the Rats

it's time for Spikes to step up

That will be an interesting development to keep an eye on.

He will either be leaning towards one way or the other after this yr, no doubt about that.

Between him, and Fletcher (yes im with you on that one) I think they'll survive.

Somebody took a photo of our defense. I think the standing one is Wilfork ;).
