I guess the #1 question going into the week is will Aaron Hernandez play. I'm gussing he will, not sure how close to 100% he will be.

Other then that, how do you think the Jets will try to slow us down? They haven't had much of a pass rush this year.

Will Revis shadow Welker?

How will they stop Gronk?

Is Branch too Quick for Cromartie?

Will Ocho finally show up?

This is always the most interesting chess match over the last few years.

My first guess would be the Jets will try to do what they did last January. Seemed to work pretty good then.

I don't know if that strategy will work twice. Also, their defense has been mediocre so far this year other than the game against Luke McCown led Jags. Also, there defense has bee surprisingly slow this year.

I think the Jets won't win with the same strategy. They need to mix it up. If the Pats run like they did today (they gave up over 200 yards on the ground last week), the Jets will have to change their strategy. They can't play sub packages all game.

Right now, the Jets look to be a shell of themselves from last year. That could change tonight, but I think if I was a Jets fan I would be worried about their next two games than I was as a Pats fan before 4PM today. They haven't been able to run and their defense has had problems.

I think the real question is will the Pats commit to the run again so they can pass more effectively. You look what the Raiders did to them and they didn't have to honor the pass like they do against the Pats. If they're going to start a weak ass tackler like Cromartie run it at him and make him put his head down. I'm betting he's not up to the task. Against the Jets last year in the playoffs they figured it out too late. If the Jets want to put 7 or 8 DBs on the field ram it down their throats.

Raiders took away Gronk today..but that's because they were running the ball so well

I guess you really have to pick your poison. Cuz Welker killed em.

The Jets have the #31 run D in the league. Today Lawfirm averaged about 5ypc and Ridley averaged about 10ypc (!). If O'Brien doesn't run it down their throats all game long he's a fool.

I would be smashing Ridley and Green-Ellis down the Jets throats all day long then playing the play-action to Welker for 1000 yards.

I think that the Play-action will open up to guys like Ocho, Branch and Gronk as well.. Particularly, underneath.

Like everyone else, I hope that Hernandez is back. I would really like it if the Pats added Polite or brought back D.Gronk or Alge..

"Average" Joe Flacco is carving them up.

Mix in some Ridley and BJGE and the Pats will be fine.

Honestly, my biggest additions would all be on defense - Bodden, Dowling & Haynesworth. I would like to see Ocho chirp up a little at Foxboro. He played a nice roll looking more comfortable in the offense.
