I think BB will decide that we are going to be the #4 seed no matter what so he will start Cassel (or maybe let Brady play the first two drives or something) on Sunday. I also think he'll rest Maroney and Dillon as much as possible. Anyone disagree?

Yup, I disagree. I think that if a win is the difference between playing the Jest or Denver, he'll go for the win. He won't pull anyone until victory is assured.

Now, if the scoreboard says Colts 31 Fish 0 midway through the third he might start pulling people.

Add Wilfork and Watson to your list. And we'll be seeing lots of M. Hill and L. Smith. BB knows DLs wear down as the season goes on.

Ya, I see this being treated somewhat like a bye-week.

I want to see Chad Jackson and Jabar Gaffney be thrown to all day, as well as Thomas again seeing lots of action.

If they D stops the run and contains VY, then I feel Cassel can do enough to beat Tenn.

The Colts game has been moved to a 4:15 kickoff.

Exactly. So we won't know whether we have any shot at all at the 3rd seed. Does anyone think Cleo Lemon is going to beat Indy?

No way!
I mean that would be like doormat Houston beating Indy.
Wait...

ok i gotta ask, what is this "BOX_O_ROCKS is right!" thing i keep seeing? I definetly missed something here.

It has to do with his on target criticism of a self-aggrandizing spammer who consistetly makes pure noise BS detracting from this forum in order to get his post count up.

ahh NEM....i should have known.

We've been so inconsistent this year that I figure we'll play the starters to keep working towards a groove.

There's merit in your thought.

Probably not,but wouldn't it be awesome if he did?:D So if BB doesn't know what the Colts will do (on any given Sunday anything can happen-the Dolts could lose:eek: ) I think he has to go for the win. I sort of think he would anyway, regardless of how the Colts do,but he'll definitely hope for a big comfy lead asap-even if we win by only 3 in the end, it will still be a W.
I'd like Brady to stay in and throw to the rookies.

I'd like that as well. But I do think that Bruschi and Hobbs ought to sit -- playing in a cast is not something you want to do unless you have to.

Good point.

The game plan to beat Tenn would be on the ground.
I don't think BB values the higher seed and worse draft pick which comes with it. But Cassel/Vinny may well beat Tenn just as last year we almost beat Miami when not trying to hard.
Just my opinion.

I believe you are right. I doubt BB will play like this a must win game.
He knows he has potentially 4 tough games ... three without a break.

I see following possibly happneing
1. Rest any player not 100% (Watson, Wilfork for example)
2. Give many of his non starters a lot of playing time.
3. By second half most the key starters should be on bench( I hope)

Maybe Doug Gabriel can give Miami all the Colts plays and signs.

Ha Ha Ha!! But again, I question whether he could do this since he doesn't seem to know any plays himself. This would be an interesting theory, however, if the Jets beat the Raiders :)

Then we have to play to win.

I wish that our game got moved up so then we could see if this win would have value.
