Is this year going to be an injury plagued year?

Already half of the D is battling injuries as is our 2nd TE

Ellis, Arrington and now Bodden are on the list after last week and we still don't know if Haynesworth will play (i think they are really going to need him this game)

To me it looks as if the bye week can't come soon enough. Wish they were much more healthy but what can you do..is it going to be one of those years in your opinion?

I don't think they are in that bad of shape. Only one season ending injury(koppen) and wright is probably done too I would think but they haven't ir'd him yet so who knows. Anyways looks like everyone else will be back soon. Better than last year when they lost Warren, bodden, and kaczur early.

It's kind of a strange year, I feel like there are more injuries than usual around the league and I think the lockout is the culprit. Hopefully it doesn't get to the point where it cripples the team, but I think they'll be ok, as long as defenders stop diving at the golden boy's knees they'll be ok.

This is a true statement and would be back up by stats (if I had any). Everyone is blaming the lack of a offseason program. I'd like to think we are the deepest team in the league which should bode well for us at the end of the year.

We are deep...well not on the D side of the ball

Safety, and CB's are banged up/thin at the moment

Line is thin with no Haynesworth and Ellis now with a possible knee injury

Hopefully we're getting this crap out of the way early in the season. If this does keep up :bricks:. The injuries at corners / safety, which were already suspect, is what worries me most .

Too bad we weren't a little deeper in the secondary. Oh well, I guess that wasn't feasible.

My expectation going into the season was that ALL teams in the NFL would be experiencing and inordinate amount of injuries given the lockout and lack of "real world" NFL conditioning.

I think other teams are dealing with plenty of injuries as well. It's why I was hoping they'd allow larger rosters this year alone

The ability to keep, say, an extra pass catching TE would have been nice

Darn. :(

Seems like every year is an injury plagued year with this club.

Is it "going to be" an injury-plagued year? We are already there, unfortunately.
