Moss for a 3rd?

Any guy who quit like Moss isn't worth it. I don't care who you are playing for, you need to play your ass off on every play. I don't care how the Raiders are being run. The fact that he has basically quit on the team is why I never want him on the Patriots.

Besides, he is getting up there in age and he has been injury prone in recent years. I think he ain't worth it. I think other older WRs with great attitudes and something left in the tank will be available next offseason.

There's going to be a lot of WR out there this year, from the talented troublemakers like Moss and T.O. to underachievers like Lelie and all kinds in between. We will have no trouble finding a WR or two at a good price to bring in - the real question will be what upside we think Caldwell and Gaffney have (my guess is #2 and #3 WR respectively) and whether we think Chad Jackson will take the sophomore step up.

why do you want a lazy bum?

he aint lazy when hes happy.

Happy Randy comes from Winning Team

think about it..when Brady overthrows his WRs..Moss wont be getting overthrown because hes got leap

then he's never happy. he's admitted to not running full speed on routes not meant for him.

he's past his prime and would be a detriment to this team

Moss has always dogged it and taken plays off. He rarely will act as a decoy and give it his all if the ball isn't coming his way.

I was totally turned off to the guy when he totally dogged it barely even coming off the line when the ball wasn't being thrown to him the the NFC Championships against the Giants back in the 1998 or 1999 season (I forget which one it was). I know they went down by 21 early, but the Vikes had the offense to score quickly and potentially get back in the game. His lazy-assed attitude made it impossible for the Vikes to get back into it because teams could roll coverage on Cris Carter when he took one step off the line and stopped every time the ball wasn't coming his way.

i only remember him saying this year hes not trying because no 1 on the team cares and hes sick of it.

hes not past his prime..hes got more talent than any of our WRs really..if he can get motivated again and be happy here..im sure he'll help but i doubt BB tries

im not saying i would love randy here but the "3rd round" idea is hard to throw out the window..

Who's on first...

Exactly. It makes me wonder.

Stay away from this dude. What do you think if we go 2 games with him getting a catch or 2.He will run his mouth and cause trouble like hell as he is not the focal of all attention.

It always amazes me everyones wants to throw away bradies strength of distrbuting the ball and get a big WR so he can complain unless he gets the ball 10 times a game.Oh yeah we need to keep him happy so throw it to him all the time.

Who the heck wants to throw away Brady's (not bradies) strength away? Maybe we just want to get him some better targets to make him stronger.

If you could take the mind of Jerry Rice and put it in the body of Randy Moss...it would be scary.

If you could remove Moss' brain and just let him play.....it would be amazing.

Claims Randy Moss could be traded for a 3rd round pick. I seriously doubt it would be that low.

He is a tremendous talent and has a major attitude problem which everyone knows. What everyone ignores is he hasn't been a dominant player since 2003.

A 3rd sounds like proper value at this point in his career.

Imagine if a certain coach reunited Moss with his college QB. Coles, Cotchery and Moss would make for an interesting receiving corps right in our division.

Very very bad idea. Please don't spread that kind of bad karma.

Even Rice b*tched when he didn't get the ball enough, although how could that be? He was also jealous of Joe getting most of the publicity. It almost comes with the territory (wide receiver position). Makes me really like Marvin Harrison in spite of his team. I wouldn't want Moss.

We don't need Moss; we have Caldwell.
