I was watching NFLN last week and Jamie Dukes was having an argument with another analyst. When Lindsey Soto agreed with the other guy, Jamie Dukes got angry and then accused her of having a crush on him (shes married btw). Now he's asking her to "take snaps" from him.

Dukes constantly acts like a nervous teenager around her. It's funny to watch him continue to make an ass of himself, i guess


but in addition to the numerous idiotic comments he makes (google search: "Jamie dukes is an idiot"), its hard to see how he still has a job

In this case I am on Jamie's side. He tries to be funny and I don't think this was premeditated as a crude joke. He is actually treating her as an equal.
But I guess at the end of the day, we are not really equal after all. I can bet that if it was a male host, a former player, he would have done it and there will not be any issue.

I like Dukes as an analyst. With that said, that was definitely not appropriate and I would bet that there will be some disciplinary action from the NFL Network.

First, would he have joked about a male reporter having a crush on him? Second, it's pretty obvious in 2011: at work, sexual/romantic jokes aren't acceptable unless you're really sure you're around people who don't mind. Doubly so on TV, someone's always going to mind! I don't think he was intending to sexually harass her, but intent isn't needed, certain words/actions combined with someone being offended is enough to land someone in hot water. Agree with it or not, everyone needs to know it.

But I still have no idea why this OP was made.
