Bruschi picking Oakland

Folks don't get this... he is providing Bulletin Board material to fire up the D.. read between the lines.

I hate that Tedy is part of the media now. It makes it hard to know if his remarks are agenda driven or sincere. Its a shame because he was one of my favorite players. Now he is an ESPN shill. All we need now is for him to proclaim that the players 'hate their coach'.
It's easy, I just evaluate media comments the way I learned here. If they're pro-Patriots, they're sincere. If they're anti-Patriots, they're agenda-driven. Penalties work the same way.

Its a very one-sided view to point to the weakness of one team and use that to make your prediction while ignoring the weaknesses of the other team. Who have the Raiders proved they could stop?
Before the Buffalo game Tedy was not making those comments, so they apparently higne on that perfomance, and the Raiders defense was even worse against the Bills.
So until the Raiders prove they can stop anyone..............

The Bruschi detailed analysis you requested at the link...

Bruschi's Breakdown: Pats must stop Raiders' run game - ESPN Boston

Nah. I don't really care about Bruschi's predictions, nor those of anyone else in the media, for that matter.

Defense wins Championships.

Always has and always will.

Clearly this is just Bru being ticked at Brady for saying that Bru "doesn't know anything about this team" (paraphrasing).

Which makes PatsFans.com such an outlier when compared to, say, any other fan forum for any team in any sport...ever.

Next up...Bruschi grows in his hair REALLY long!

You've never gone to sites like Chiefsplanet.com, then?

Except in the last few super bowls.

But the last superbowl featured 2 of the leagues premier defenses

Maybe before that though yes.

Somewhere Jason Campbell is licking his chops to face this terrible defense.I am going with Tedy and picking the raiders.I hope for once that i am wrong and this team doesnt allow another 400 yards of total offense to an opponent.

I have. I also don't think it necessarily translates to compare homerism between teams that are constantly crap with teams that go to the playoffs every year. Eventually you'd expect reality to set in, unless they were Jets fans, of course.

If were were to go 5-11 this season, this place would start to resemble the Bellevue psych ward by around week eight.

Hey guys teddy will always be a true patriot. If he picks the pats every week then everyone would say he is a homer. his job is to analyze, not to make the players feel good.

Even if he does get 400 yards... Brady will double that.
Remember, the Raiders secondary is almost as bad as ours right now.

If Jason Campbell is licking his chops, Brady's lips have already fallen off

It's a shame, isn't it?

Tedy is hastily becoming part of the indiscernible collage of douche bag that is Tom Jackson, Merrill Hoge, Skip Bayless, Woody Page, etc

If you say something stupid, enough times, you can always believe it.

Triumph of the dumb girls.

Too bad, it doesn't make it any more true.

I wonder if Oakland pitching a 5 TD's in 5 drives in Buffalo is what makes Tedy think their front four is so good.

I guess the way to get Tedy approval is to surrender 11 more points and 60 more yards to the same team in the same stadium.

No wonder we can lose a game where the QB pitches four INT's and a pick six and the defense gets blamed.

In my book last year a great offense/good defense beat a good offense/great defense.
