I am not sure if this is the right forum for this... but i will ask anyways.

In your honest opinion, who are the most talented quarterbacks of all time? Not the most successful, but the most talented (for example, jay cutler was considered the second coming of john elway).

Where does brady rank in this list?

Also, who are the most talented quarterbacks of the last 10 years.

#1 - Greg Cook

#413 - Mark Sanchez

It depends on your parameters for "talented".

1. Chad Pennington (round 1 NY Jets)
2. Giovanni Carmazzi (round 2 SF 49ers)
3. Chris Redman (round 2 Baltimore Ravens)
4. Tee Martin (round 5 Steelers)
5. Marc Bulger (round 6 Saints)
6. Spergon Wynn (round 6 Browns)

these guys count:rolleyes:

it's a tuff question Brady has a talent for reading defenses some guys have cannons for arms, others scramble. Drew hansen was perceived as a talented QB, In think he sells insurance now. lol

Dan Marino and Michael Vick are the two most PHYSICALLY talented QB's I have ever seen.

In the last ten years??

I guess you would have to more clearly define "talented" before i could rank Brady. There are many things that fall into the category.

where would you put aaron rondgers for talent in the last 10 years, with respect to your own definition of talent?

yea dan marino was a beast physically (same with vick)

again.. it depends on how you define talent.

Physically, it would be hard to rank anyone higher than Vick in the last ten years.

Rodgers would probably be second on that list.

But there is much more that goes into the position than physical ability.

true. what about OVERALL talent (i.e. physical ability, decision making, pocket awareness etc)

Being cool under pressure, im not sure if it's a talent but it's an attribute that allows QBs(all atheletes for that matter) to have tremendous success. Many physically gifted QBs lack this ability and it's not easy to learn if thats even possible.

article about ryan mullet being a top tear talent
Ryan Mallett one of most talented quarterbacks in 2011 NFL Draft - Michael Rosenberg - SI.com

Im always curious about how QB talent is ranked as well, Is there a bench mark list of top QB qualities?

I was trying to name these to my girlfriend about an hour ago, and I could not remember Tee Martin or Giovanni Carmazzi (who was a 3rd rounder)!

But I just ended on 'don't worry the 7th QB drafted is the important one...

Where does Big Ben rate then?

He has won superbowls and is in a different class physically.
