If we're going to play a power run formation to compliment the passing offense I am all for a FB guiding BJGE.

we have no FB since Heath Evans right?

I always liked McCrary the year he was here

Interesting, I'm all for signing a dedicated fullback for some ground and pound.

If they're looking at another tight end, you have to wonder if Hernandez is going to be out for some time. I hope not.

We only have two tightends on the roster and one is hurt. I think they might be looking for some depth at the position. Maybe.

I found the stat. Polite was 20/20 on his 3rd/4th and 1 attempts in 2009 and 2010. If nothing else, I feel like that's the kind of stat that gets a guy on a roster.

A proper fullback would be a good addition, considering we couldn't get BJGE into the endzone in back to back attempts. Makes you wonder why though, given that we don't use the running backs we already have.

I want to sign Polite just so we can say "LOOOOOOOOUUUUUUU" everytime he touches the ball :D

We didn't really have a FB when Evans was here. I'm all for getting a FB if they are actually going to run the ball. It would be nice if they got a little tougher and pounded it out when they get a 3 TD lead.

Maybe through 3 games BB has seen the run blocking as "spotty" at best given the lock out issues, Koppen going down and Vollmer's status uncertain. Baltimore took the onus onto themselves and put a very good FB in front of Ray Rice and he's going nuts to start 2011.

YES! Please sign Polite. A fullback would be nice to have again.

I always thought Polite was pretty good in Miami. And he's only 30 years old.

Being able to pound the ball would just make them an all around better team, would help the offense and would definitely help the defense, if for no other reason than keeping them off the field. Why can't the coaching staff see this? Are they blind to it with all the stats and records at this point?

PLEASE Lord, make this happen! I've been praying for a FB for years, I'm tired of this finesse nonsense, I want to punish the other team, I want them to be physically and mentally hurting after they play us.

Agreed.

It's seemed rare of late to see RBs approaching anything resembling holes.

It'd be nice to create a few here and there.

Sign Polite! We need a fullback.

Anybody know why he was cut from miami? Isn't he a pro bowl caliber fullback?

The Phins fan that I asked said that he's only a decent blocker.

Yes! I am also anxious to see what Cannon can provide on this front. What date is he allowed to play from again?

Thank god...........

I hated being the colts.........
