Everything NEM said about the Pats needing to change their offense and call different plays, instead of Dillon off tackle 20 times a game, and Maroney up the middle 20 times a game was proven right.

All those who said "our receivers suck, they can't get open"....well, how do you explain yesterday? Alot of open receivers and Jacksonville has a good defense. Or how about "why change things...we don't know FOR SURE that changing things would work better". Yeah, that's brilliant. Run Maroney up the middle 20 times a game and it doesn't work, but why change?

NEM may be repetitive but he was RIGHT. And all the nincompoops and whining losers (ban NEM!) were WRONG.

Reading that quote from McDaniels, it's like he was reading NEM's comments on this board.

Anyway NEM, you deserve a victory lap. These clowns were WRONG, not that they'll admit it.

McBee -
I suggest you go back to whatever little hole you came out of. NEM was one of the ones complaining about the receivers not getting open.

Also, how do you figure that NEM was right? Could you also provide the quote from McDaniels that was like reading NEM's comments on the board because I can't find the one that said "We threw more slants and screens to win this game". All McDaniels said was that they changed things up a bit more than usual.

Last, your other garbage comments have no foundation whatsoever in reality. NO ONE was saying that the Pats needed to run Maroney up the middle 20 times a game. Nor was anyone saying that we needed to run Dillon off-tackle 20 times a game (though off tackle yesterday was where Dillon got his best runs from).

I'm sure this thread will now prompt McBee's fans to become NEM fans - two pools of poison masquerading as minds - the only difference is McBee is honest about it and hasn't gone to other Patriots' fan's forums to attack them on behalf of this forum.

The Patriots game plan differently for every opponent. They looked at the Jags and did what they did. They'll look at another opponent and likely do something different. Been happening for years now.

Always nice to see the village idiots joining forces, especially on Xmas.

And just as real.

It is this simple, it is a game plan developed by McDaniels, the Position coaches, BB, #12, #16 and #14... the pats braintrust.

Isn't mcbee the one that said he wasn't going to watch anymore Pats games after the Miami loss? I knew we wouldn't be that lucky.

mcbee is just NEM under a different ISP. So what, the guy praises hmself on this board. What else is new?

I already checked. Not true.

Darn, but it is a great theory. Maybe it is a different computer. Like a laptop and a PC. It certainly isn't a farfetched theory.

The spyware hidden cameras say no to that also.

By the way, put some clothes on!

NEM was right for this game. I don't think you can bring this gameplan to every game. But this is the same gameplan that we have moved the ball effectively against other cover 2 defenses this year. We used a similiar gameplan against the Vikes.

This offense has always been very effective against cover 2 teams, because cover 2 teams aren't designed to stop a short passing game. We can do what NEM wants us to do against the Jags, but if we run the same offense vs. the Chargers or Ravens they will probably kill us.

First of all. Alot of people ahve been saying this. Just becuase NEM posts it 800x's doesn't mean he is the only one saying it.

What really needs to be assessed is whether the Jags are the AFC's version of the Vikes. A team that can stop the run but has no legit pass rusher.

The pats have their most troubles against teams with a speed rusher or fast linebackers, or teams that blitz the heck out of them.

We saw this last playoffs against the broncos when they couldn't adjust to john lynch blitzing and resulted in the champ td as the worst example.

we've seen the jets blitz the heck out of them this season and jason taylor take over a game.

so what we've seen lately is that a result of slow big fronts that can stop the run but can't put pressure on brady or are the pats legit with their pass protection now?

we probably won't see the test next week.

but will most likely see it if the pats have to face the jets or broncos first round and then eventually freeney, merriman, or even terrel suggs.

How was NEM right for this game? I saw 1 screen and it was a TE screen. Was there an inside slant or cross thrown on the majority of downs? Not in the game I saw. If you are referring to him being right as McD switching up a stradegy, thats a no brainer.

Isn't this the same McBee that lists a short biography entitled, "I was a fan of the Pats before you were born", where he talks about how he knew someone who knew a Pats fan... consider the source.
