1994 vs Minnesota- W 26-20 OT

2003 @ Miami- W 19-13 OT

Good to know.

Wouldn't the Mo Lewis Jets game be a bigger turning point than either of the ones listed?

How about January 12 1986
New England 31
Miami 14

February 3, 2002
New England 20
St. Louis 17

Give it a rest. Belichick would have made the switch to Brady sooner or later, probably sooner. To call it a turning point in any positive sense is to exalt a moment wherein someone almost died. Since you mentioned Mo Lewis, it is almost certain you were talking about Bledsoe almost being killed. Let's not forget the man had internal bleeding from said hit.

Here's a proposal, how about we talk about it in terms of when Brady took over and forget the near-death of a player?

Someone is going to have to refresh my memory. Why is that a turning point??

Can I nominate this for thread of the year?

What, too soon?

Wow,

I thought people would be all about this thread! I thought people would be so excited to talk about classics like I mentioned, that I didn't even bother to go into detail about the games. Damm, I was wrong. Am I the only one here who watches NFL Films 1994-2010 Patriots videos all the time? Love seeing the year to year patriot yearbooks, americas game, etc. Do people seriously forget the impact these games had?

I guess I will go into further detail about these games

I don't see how the Miami game in 03 was a turning point.....it was a big game but we went 14-2 and that's not even the game that started our win streak.

Last time I checked Drew's doing alright. He did not, in fact, die. Give it rest.

That game was a turning point for the franchise, period.

Right. Like I said, how about we talk about it in terms of Brady taking over and not glorify Mo Lewis (who last I checked, did not play a down a for the Patriots)?

What the hell happened in the 94 Vikings game? I was only 11 at the time.

Show me where I glorified Mo Lewis. Take your time, I'm hourly.

IIRC, Pats were behind 20-0 and Bledsoe rallied them to a tie and victory in overtime that started the Pats turnaround.

Hmmmmmm, I always thought the turning points were

July 22, 1979*

March 14, 1997*

That is all.

* - just randomly assigned days to add a cryptic element to this already dumb thread and to make all make all my patfans friends jump on google to find out what "what happened those days.

I agree with this 100%, even though Adam V said it wasn't true.
