How loyal (attire wise) are you to your team after a loss like yesterday?

I bring this up because last night I was at my local casino wearing my Patriots Brady jersey and Pats hat and one of the customer service people said to me "Man,after that game you have balls to wear that"

How many of you dress in your favorite Pats garb on sunday and after a loss continue to wear it from 4:00pm through the night while out in public or do you run to your dresser and put on something else after the loss is certain to avoid snickering and remarks?

I never let that phase me,I wore a Patriots leather coat daily in the winter of 1990 and nothing can EVER be worse than that in attire of a losing team.....that was 16 weeks of snide remarks hell, yesterday was nothing :)

right after the loss, I went out with my Pats team t-shirt and hat.

Did they stink up the joint yesterday, YES I'm going to give up on them... NOWAY..

Wow. It wouldn't even occur to me that this was a loyalty issue. I guess I've never thought about it but for me it never has anything to do with a W or a L. I just put on my Pats cap because it makes me smile.

When it comes to attire.....

Some so called fans hide themselves as fans after a loss to an inferior team by shedding clothing with the logo/name on it

....Loyal fans are those that don't care what people think, they go out and take it all in stride with comments that you are almost certain to hear somewhere outside, especially if you live in areas outside NE where there are FAR fewer Pats fans, like here in Pa.

Heh.. never thought about it. Been wearing my 2011 Pat's training cap t-shirt all day. While I'm bummed at the loss yesterday, it just make the W's sweeter. Kind of funny that is.. can't really experience and know something without having experienced it's opposite. That said, I'm cool with the W to L ratio of late :)

I wore my hat and my shirt cause Im still proud of the team. No different than showing our flag. :rocker: Why not?

I had my new JETs cap and T-shirt all ready to wear late last afternoon and then...

I wear my Pats gear all day on gamedays, win or lose. In fact I was wearing a Pats hat today too

I wore my Brady jersey after the Giants SB loss...took a lot of **** from random d-bags but i will love this team regardless if they lose every game the rest of this year

Just brought a gronk jersey last night..I don't give a f what people say..I'm like a who, you can steal Christmas but I'm still going to be singing.

Meh, I wore my Patriots hoodie today. In fact, I usually will make it a point to wear the colors after a loss just to solidify the fact that I'm not a fair weather fan.

The only time I didn't was after "that game we don't mention". I was disgusted with them and had to distance myself from anything football for the sake of my own sanity.

I don't dress up in Pats gear, win or lose. Dunno why, I just don't like wearing football jerseys. The extent of my sports attire is two red sox hats and a couple of Celtics jerseys.

I wear em alot , win or lose!:rocker:

I make a point of wearing my red Patriots ballcap to the local Irish pub. The owner, a great friend and shipmate, is a JESTS fan. I love to see his face whenever I walk in. :D

But I wear the laundry all the time, or most of the time, anyway. It's the team I've rooted for since '74. Good times, bad times, don't matter. MY TEAM! MY COLORS! Those who don't like it can GFY.

yesterday's loss was hard to get over... nevertheless, pats always bounce back from a loss like this and play hard....next week's game should be terrific... :)

I wore my Belichick Hoodie - but I don't really have any other clothes. All I ever wear is a Patriots T-Shirt underneath a hoodie. I have 3 of the Belichick gray hoodies and about half a dozen others, black, red, white, blue. At home, at work, outside, it's all I wear. I think I need a life.

A sports team winning/losing has no impact on the clothes I wear. I might deliberately wear a team hat the day after a league championship, but that's as close as I'm ever likely to get.

I have a couple Patriots sweatshirts that I wear regularly. I wear them because they're comfortable. In terms of attire, I could care less what the Pats are doing on the field. As Deus said, winning/losing has no impact on this.

I wear my Pats cap on gamedays and switch off with two other favorite hats during the week (Fallen Heroes and Soldiers Angels) ..

My van is adorned with NE Decals along with Pat Patriot decal....Most true football fans would die to have their team be like the Patriots, don't let them kid you...This past decade has been a dream come true for NE sports fans with the Patriots,Red Sox,Celtics and Bruins....most fans are lucky if their favorite team wins one championship in their lifetime....

ENJOY THE RIDE !!!! :rocker::rocker::rocker:

I didn't bring any of my current Pats gear to my current location. But back in undergrad I went to University of Pittsburgh. The day after that awful 2004 Halloween game @ Steelers which ended our record breaking win streak I wore my Brady jersey to all my classes. Got some interesting looks/comments but one guy actually told me "That's love, man"
