Did this game yesterday and wow, was it a physical game. Guys dropping like flies on both teams. Huge hits in the secondary.

Hightower had a huge game, but also a dumb personal foul where he threw an Arkansas player into the Alabama DC on the sidelines.

Upshaw had nice game as well.

Lester and Barron were both physical, but both blew a couple of coverages as well.

Kirkpatrick was a beast until he got hurt.

On offense the two RB's from Alabama,Richardson and Lacey will get all the headlines, but the O Line for Alabama totally out physicalled the Arkansas DLine. Barrett Jones is playing OT, but would be perfect at OG for us.

A couple of receivers in this game that caught my eye were Adams of Arkansas and Maze of Alabama.

The future star of this game however is the Arkansas QB Wilson.

At the end of the day, if we can come out of the next draft with FS Lester, CB Kirkpatrick, ILB Hightower, OLB Upshaw, SS Barron, ROG Jones, NT Chapman, and WR Maze, then it is a good draft for us, depending on how each runs of course.

One guy I think is underrated due the ridiculous talent around him is NT Josh Chapman. He is a great run stuffer but not the greatest pass rusher. From looking at the weak class at NT, I really think he has a good chance of developing into the best of this class and would be a mid-round steal.

I want Hightower and Upshaw. Give me guys who can make some god damn plays. I'd take Kirkpatrick too.

Hightower and Mayo inside is my dream tandem. I absolutely love the way Upshaw plays the game. Vastly underrated from a national perspective. So solid in all phases of the game.

Man that game was rough to watch. Alabama's defense is the best i have seen in a while...could have a few future all-pros on there. Marquis Maze reminds me a lot of mike wallace...think he could be a good pickup late

Our OL sucks. Hate it that we lost knile davis...Bequette didnt play either. Trent Richardson is impossible to tackle. I still think we are a good team...they are just better.

Loved watching this game. I've gotta tip my hat to Wilson for standing in there and taking hit after hit all game. That Alabama defense is REAL good. LSU/Alabama is gonna be when heck of a match-up. I really like Mark Barron. I think he'd be a very good pick. Lester is a terrible tackler. The LB's are very good and would certainly fit in great here. Seems like those SEC guys who get alot of cred are usually pretty good. DJ Fluker probably won't come out this year, but he'll be a 1st rounder in 2013. Not a big Jones fan, but he played well. I do really like the C(can't remember his name w/o looking it up). If we don't get Brewster or B. Jones, he'd be a nice consolation.

What that large block of text says is that 'Bama has a ton of talent. Richardson is also a stud but we won't have a shot at him.

Why doesn't Dennis Johnson get more carries? I thought that guy was on the verge of superstardom a few years back. He looked like a mini Michael Turner a few years ago vs Florida. No one could bring him down, guys were bouncing off him and hitting the turf.

I know he had a bowel injury last year, but I thought with Davis out he'd be their top back. He could be a good later round pickup for the Pats if he continues to play second or third fiddle at Arkansas.

He had a hamstring injury the first two games, and rumors are he is in Petrino's doghouse. Petrino wont play players that dont practice hard and apparently DJ doesnt like to practice. Wingo is terrible though...knile davis didnt start until midway in the season last year so im hoping the same thing happens with johnson

Our OL is very young so it might not matter who runs it

I do really like the C(can't remember his name w/o looking it up).

Vlashos is the center. He is smaller at 6'1" and 290 pounds or so, but he has excellent technique and strength.

Can be bull rushed and out quicked at the snap. Nevis of LSU owned him last year.
