Well, not a very strong game from one of our key off-season acquisitions. I keep hearing about him needing to pick up the playbook, etc. But his leash must be shortening by the week, no?

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

Not this again....

Surprised people aren't blaming him for the loss

F = Failure. He can't even catch sure TD passes.

Bye Chad. It wasn't nice while it lasted.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

his dropped TD pass had nothing to do w/ the book. I am getting tired of him and I rather have Moss

you think he is gone this week? I hope so. Bring back Randy Moss

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

He did everything right but catch the pass. I was particularly annoyed by the drop as it was at a key time in the game, but Randy made a habit of that in his last days here. How quickly people forget.

If people want to rag on the offense, rag on the lack of play calling balance. Ridley got hot... so we benched him.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

The dropped TD pass was bad. That being said, the Pats didn't exactly use Chad very well either.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

I still think cutting him would be ill advised.

No I don't but if I were Belichick he would be.

I would :

a) See if Moss wanted to return in a "part, not emphasis, of the offense" role.

b) If no to the above, move on without him. Price would do fine once his hammy heals.

When Taylor Price comes back from injury, and if he shows his preseason form, I would not be surprised to see him released.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

I didn't like the trade then and I don't like it now. 4 million for an aging WR who's our #3 or # 4 WR? It doesn't sound like a sound investment to me. I'd rather have Price activated.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

Deactivate him until he proves in practice he's up to speed. Stop saying Bring back Moss, too. We had 4 turnovers, a dropped touchdown pass, and a 30+yard Gronk (unless I'm thinking of last week, it seems Gronk has atleast one big catch brought back every week) catch negated by a penalty and still put up 31 points. We don't need more "stars" we need more dependable players. We need Hernandez to get healthy.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

Chad OforStinko = 2011 version of Doug Gabriel.

Cut his stinkin azz. Another useless aging WR acquistion by the genius. Worst use of $4MM

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

There's still plenty of games for him to contribute in...

well said... but when will Aaron be healthy???

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

I thought he looked more comfortable today than he had up until now.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

I think we can afford to give him more time, the drop was costly but we would have lost this game with or without him. I still think the potential reward is worth keeping him around I just hope Brady hasn't lost confidence in him like with Galloway.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

Moss catches that pass with one hand tied behind his back. We don't need another Reche Caldwell on the team to drop critical passes in critical games.

Patience is running out. It was a perfect pass,a perfect route and a ****ty catch. Yes we scored but if he catches that ball the entire clock management is different in that game. It was a 14 play drive that took up a lot of clock. Granted the defense did give the lead up afterwards.

Wouldn't be surprised if Brady stopped looking his way altogether now.

Re: The Chad OchoCinco Experiment

After a bit more research, it appears the Pats have already paid Ocho more than 4 million dollars this season, as a signing bonus.

Patriots limit risk with contracts - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

Barring improvement, I can therefore see Ocho lingering for the entire season as an overpaid WR3/decoy, if only to justify the outrageous expense.
