This really belongs in the NFL forum, but I'll put it here for now. Post your thoughts, opinions and reactions to other NFL games in this thread.

Early Games
0-2 Dolphins at 1-1 Browns; Miami favored by 1½
2-0 Texans at 1-1 Saints; New Orleans favored by 3½
1-1 Giants at 1-1 Eagles; Philadelphia favored by 8½
2-0 Lions at 0-2 Vikings; Detroit favored by 3
1-1 Broncos at 1-1 Titans; Tennessee favored by 7
1-1 Jaguars at 0-2 Panthers; Carolina favored by 3½
1-1 49ers at 1-1 Bengals; Cincinnati favored by 2½

Late Games
0-2 Chiefs at 1-1 Chargers; San Diego favored by 14½
2-0 Jets at 1-1 Raiders; New Jersey favored by 3
1-1 Ravens at 0-2 Rams; Baltimore favored by 5½
1-1 Falcons at 1-1 Bucs; Tampa Bay favored by 1½
0-2 Cardinals at 0-2 Seahawks; Arizona favored by 3
2-0 Packers at 1-1 Bears; Green Bay favored by 4½

Sunday Night
1-1 Steelers at 0-2 Colts; Pittsburgh favored by 10½

Monday Night
2-0 Redskins at 1-1 Cowboys; Dallas favored by 4½

Predictions:

Falcons (+1½) at Bucs
Tampa Bay's run defense is still a work in progress; I expect a big day from Michael Turner. That will open up play action passes to Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez.
5 units

Pats at Bills (over 54)
This game could have that many points on the scoreboard by half time.
5 units

Raiders (+3½) over Jets
First off don't discount the effect of coast-to-coast travel. Shonn Greene looks indecisive and Nick Mangold is out. That forces the Jets to throw the ball; I like Oakland to not only cover but to win straight up.
4 units

Pats at Bills (+7½)
Considering all the injuries on both sides of the ball I'm very tempted to predict the Bills win this one straight up; at minimum I expect them to cover.
4 units

Broncos (+7) at Titans
I'm not sold on Hasselbeck and see last week's win over the Ravens as an anomaly; Tennessee comes back to earth today.
2 units

Giants at Eagles (-8½)
The Gints have no receivers, and they have nobody in their secondary that can cover the Iggles receivers. How many picks do you figure Eli throws, about three?
1 unit

Lions (-3) at Vikings
We're now seeing why two teams gave up on McNabb. With no passing game to fear Detroit can focus on taking away Adrian Peterson, which is Minnesota's only hope.
1 unit

Dolphins (-1½) over Browns
After facing the Chargers and Pats Miami's defense gets a break going against Cleveland; now word is that Peyton Hillis is out.
1 unit

Steelers (-10½) at Colts
Normally there would be no way that I would go with double-digit favorite on the road, but I'm going against the Colts until they show a reason to not do that
1 unit

Chiefs at Chargers (-14½)
Even though SD is without Antonio Gates, and even though this is a ridiculously huge line in a division game, Kansas City is so bad I've got to go against all logic and against the Chiefs
1 unit

The rest:
Miami-Cleveland under 42½
Texans +3½; New Orleans-Houston over 51
Giants-Eagles under 47
Lions-Vikings over 44½
Broncos-Titans over 43½
Jaguars +3½; Jags-Panthers over 42½
Bengals -2½; SF-Cincy over 38½
Chiefs-Chargers under 44½
Jets-Raiders over 40½
Ravens -5½; Ravens-Rams under 42
Falcons-Bucs over 44½
Cardinals -3; Arizona-Seattle under 43
Bears +4½; Green Bay-Chicago over 45½
Steelers-Colts over 39½
Redskins +4½; Washington-Dallas under 46½

Not getting Pats where I am. :(

Texans @ Saints . . . HOU has 3-and-14 inside their own 10 . . . when Andre Johnson just barely picks up a first running over Malcolm Jenkins. And now HOU is in the red zone.

The Eagles dream team secondary sure is looking ****ty.

10-0 HOU after 1.

And A$ante giving up a TD because he isn't willing to chase down the receiver. Sheli up 14-0 over the Eagles.

Saints turning into the Aint's again . . . 13-7 HOU and Brees just got picked off in Aint's territory. . . .

Saints now leading 17-16.

As they say, it's hard to beat TDs with FGs.

Eagles look awful in the redzone. Have to settle for a field goal to go up 16-14.

Raiders tied up with jets at halftime. If oakland can pull this out, it won't be all bad today.

The Raiders look good on D. Fast to the ball, good pressure and they rap up.

Cromartie had 4 flags on him. Dirty Sanchez sacked 3 times :D

o line better show up against the raiders their Dline is good. I like our chances against them though they give too many penalties and free plays

Should we be worrying more about the Bills than the Jets, or too early?

Sanchez is turrrrrible

Their defense concerns me. But I think that they can go on vacation next week when our so called Defense comes to town.

Wow that was some play calling to stop the Jets agressive D.

The Jets are crumbling to the Raiders. so at least there's that. :)

Raiders on the 1. Could go up by 14. A jets loss will make up for the Pats loss a little.

Meriweather with a nice play in the CHI-GB game. I forgot what a safety looked like.
