Regardless of anything else that happened, this is simply remarkable:

GRONK, this week: 7 catches, 109 yards, 2 touchdowns
GRONK, 3 games: 17 catches, 281 yards, 5 touchdowns

Welker, this week: 16 catches, 219 yards, 2 touchdowns
Welker, 3 games: 31 catches, 458 yards, 4 touchdowns

ETA: If you want to b**** about the loss, please take it elsewhere. Let's leave this thread for GRONK and Welker.

Also: Welker's number (which may or may not be 219; Boston Globe says 217) is a franchise record for receiving yards.

Two guys with huge hearts.

Agreed. Monster games by both. I could tell both were winded with all the work.

Did you see Welker's eyes during the 3rd/4th quarter? He had incredible fire in his eyes.

You couldn't ask more of any player than what they bring.

Gronk is playing out of his mind right now. Wes did everything he could to keep NE in it today. The other 51 guys should be apologizing to these two tonight.

This is for you Wes Welker!!

Where did that BOB appreciation thread go? HMMM?

Man, these guys are amazing, Welker on pace for 160 catches, Gronk on pace for 90, ridiculous production. Gronk has greatness written all over him, our best TE since Ben Coates. Welker, is the ultimate warrior, maybe the best trade of a draft choice ever. Love those guys.

Thanks for starting this thread. I was hoping there was a silver lining somewhere. Also thought Ridley had a good game.

I have both on my fantasy team!

WINNING!

Love those guys. Big Beast and Mini Beast.

Welker, what a player. Way to come up big when needed. :youtheman:

I can't fathom why in his time here these knuckleheads (or their HC) have yet to name him a captain. Welker is the second most important cog in this wheel.

Wish Hernandez was as durable as the TE whose draft stock dropped due to a bad back...

Wish we'd kept a 3rd blocking TE so we could run the new offense or the ball...with one of our 4 active RB's...

Wish Bill would quit trying to make Lou Gherig out of Wally Pip's understudy...

Maybe he didn't want it?

Blown away by Welker today. Forget the route running and YAC, he made some difficult catches.

The Oline played well today-Welker and Rob were outstanding!

Just imagine if Ocho caught that ball for a TD(or any balls!)....what a toad....
or if Hernandez played too....
or Patrick Chung pounding their receivers all game!

or if 1 or 2 of those INT's didn't land in the lap of those defenders....that's just bad luck!

or the bs penalties called throughout the game (what a sh!t officiating crew!)-like the penalty that brought Buffalo to the 1 yd. line....out of control folks. the ref's were horrible!

The Buff Oline were HOLDING ALL GAME! Where were the "penguins? then"

The hands to the face of Fitzpatrick by Kyle Love in the end zone for a fat penalty was aweful.

The refs were handing the Bills yards.

I had to vent about some of those things...

other than that...we had a bad one...all good teams do and it blows when your up 21 to zip and then a few bad plays change the game...oh well..we've seen it before

We play em again...we'd win. no doubt about it.

Love Gronk and Welker! They are $$ in the bank. Keep up the good work guys!
