Hate is a pretty strong word.

I am no fan of Buffalo, but hate? No, the Steelers I HATE. The Bills are hapless.

if you can find 1000 reasons to hate the buffalo bills.....

it should be quite easy to find 10,000 to feel sorry for them....

Buffalo would be my default team to root for (if the Pats had a bad season and Buffalo was doing well).

Hate:

Pittsburgh
Indianapolis
New Jersey Jets

Buffalo has been bad for far to long to really generate that kind of emotion for me. I feel sorry for Buffalo fans more then feel hate for the franchise.

I find it hard to hate the Bills, there's really nothing detestable about them character-wise. The New Jersey Green Beans -- now THERE is scummy, slimy, hateworthy collection of escaped doorknobs.

I don't mind the bills as a team so much, but I HATE the fans who were cheering Brady getting hurt in 2008.

Ditto to all of the above except i kind of respect Indy and only prefer SF to Buffalo as a second team to root for.

I respect all of those teams as opponents, and for their abilities. But I do hate them. Especially the JESTS.

I don't always hate football teams. But when I do I usually hate on the NY Jests. Stay classy my friends.

Let me add Miami to that list going back to the days of pompous Shula......

agreed, the Bills are never a team I have hated. not to say I like them but they never bothered me.

Pittsburgh, Cowboys, Colts and Raiders... now there are teams I hate.

You know if Buffalo wasn't in the AFC East I simply wouldn't care about them. As far as other teams I hate....

New York Jets
New York Giants
New York Red Bulls
New York Yankees
Houston Dynamo
Chivas USA
Pittsburgh Steelers
Green Bay Packers
Chicago Bears
Puerto Rico Islanders
Montreal Impact
Miami Dolphins
Oakland Raiders
Atlanta Falcons
Dallas Cowboys
Philadelphia Eagles
Indianapolis Colts
Miami Heat
LA Lakers

who the hell are the PR Islanders?

I'd root for Houston or ATL if the Pats ceased to exist I think.

Does Buffalo still have that "crown" on the field?

if the Pats were "folded" I would likely root for the Saints or maybe the Chiefs... possibly the Browns. All teams I enjoyed as a kid.

Chiefs had Christian Okoye and Derrek Thomas and Derek Ward... cant forget "The Berg"

Saints had Jim Everret and Ironhead. The defense was my favorite. Jackson, Vaughn, Swilling, Atkins, Mills (91-92/92-93 era easily my favorite non-pats team of all time)

Browns had Kosar and some great RBs
