We have exactly zero needs, other than to keep the injuries to a minimum. Koppen, Hernandez, Wendell, and Varreen are our current injuries. This is certainly normal. We have backups everywhere. We have the best offense, the best quarterback, the best TE's, and the best OL in the nfl.

Our wide receivers and running backs are more than up to the job and are likely to get better as the newbies learn the system better and have more experiecne with the club (Ochocinco, Ridley and Vareen).

10th straight regular season game with over 30 points. If you can't pressure Brady, he's going to light you up. Got a short glimpse at Ridley. Can't wait to see from him and Vereen. Nothing wrong with BJGE, he's our closer. I do worry we over use Woodhead at times. He'd be my 3RD down back. Like we used to use Faulk. Seems like he's on the field more than Kevin was. Want to keep Woody healthy for the long haul. I think we see a lot more of Chad Johnson(I hate calling him Ochocinco) the next couple of weeks. Oakland & Buffalo have suspect secondaries.

This is where the depth of this squad becomes obvious.. but of course keep the rolodex close by.

is this offense better than the one which lost to the jets in the playoffs last year  (i didnt watch the jets game and have no intention of watching it ever )

I don't think Woodhead is overused. He is a critical part of the no-huddle offense, which is predicated on having 5 eligible receivers who can switch between 2-, 3- and 4-wide sets without changing personnel. He's a better receiver than Benny, can run between the tackles when called upon, and very good at blitz pickups.

They seem to need a tight end, and they need an interior lineman.

Zero needs? Our 3 best Wrs are 30 + and we have no # 1 tall physical WR. I would love to get a Justin Blackmon, Alshon Jeffrey, or Malcom Floyd on our team. A young stud with some size skills and speed.

Our Offense is the best in the league..Yes. But I feel it could become an All Time Great record breaking offense if we had a stud # 1 WR like a Dwayne Bowe or Vincent Jackson type.

Let Solder sub as a blocking TE to spell Dan Gronk if needed....Hernandez' injury isn't season ending.....Plenty of WR's to target....

With this Offense...and Cannon in the wings along with Koppen back in 6-8 weeks ?

I don't think it's exactly a need......

JMHO

This is a fair point (yes, I saw WW take it 99 yards but he isn't keeping defensive coordinators awake trying to figure out how to stop it). You could say the same thing about our RBs: No home run hitters.

Vincent Jackson would be an awesome addition. I don't know if defenses would game plan to double team Bowe though. He's not as good as many people think he is. I think last season was a blip.

Their are no question marks on offense..as long as they stay relatively healthy..they will be and are the best in the NFL. Hernandez injury will hurt yes..but the pats can get by Buffalo and Oakland without him.

Don't know if TE is a need per say i think we will do just fine with the GRONK's.

Interior line on the other hand... i am very interested on Cannon's status come week 6.

Because if he turns out to be a good LG/RG replacement i think the emergence of connoly as our C has really shawed up the pats "best" OL

Light Mankins Koppen Waters Vollmer

Swing T: Solder
C/G: Connoly
G/RT: Cannon

That is a line with a pretty bright future and present.(i am talking about after week 6 if Cannon and Koppen get back)

I disagree on Bowe. He is one of the best in the game. Big, Immensely strong, amazing after the catch, great at the jump ball, good hands, good route runner, fast, and he has a god given knack for finding the endzone. A complete Receiver.

When did Bowe buy someone's good hands, and where does he keep them?

0:30 amazing leaping, catching, body control. Who from our team could make that catch?

Just because he had one big drop doesnt mean he has bad hands. Bowe has good hands, and has great physical tools.

Bowe has led the league in drops, and does not have good hands, at all. You should probably avoid analyzing players based upon just a few highlight films.

Dwayne Bowe is easily a top 10 WR in this league. I would without hesitation give up a 1st round pick for him. If he makes it to free agency next year, I would offer him a huge contract to come play for the patriots. Dwayne Bowe is a complete stud.

FYI- Someone with "bad hands" doesn't score 15 tds in one season!

Well, since Bowe scored the 15 tds, someone with "bad hands" can, indeed, score 15 tds in one season! As for your top 10 claim, I could easily come up with 10 WRs that are arguably better, but that just leads to the sort of opinion battle that has no endpoint.

just because he can do stuff like that doesn't mean he's an upgrade. I'd take every one of our non-Slater wideouts over him.
