Dowling returns to practice Wednesday

Chung is a hand injury right? Should be good to play, although it seems like half the secondary is playing with a cast on their hand.

I like this part of the story:

Ras-I Dowling returned to practice today after being givem a clean bill of health by the specialists at JN Phillips Auto Glass.

"Not a single chip, crack, or scratch on Ras-I", commented Joe Smith, General Manager of the Foxboro branch of JN Phillips, "he is a fine piece of glassmanship."

LOL, it's just good to hear that Dowling is back. He has flashed us some of his talent early in the season. And we're gonna need him to matchup against taller WRs.

This great news. We are more than fine with Bodden, McCourty and Dowling at corner.

Vollmers back still acting up.

Damn good thing BB drafted Solder. Hes been more than holding his own.

Pats try out Punters too.

I wondered if Koppen to IR had more to do with having a spare roster spot open should Mesko need more time?

I'd say the two roster spots that can be juggled if injury problems crop up are lb and cb. And, Mike Wright too. But, I'm really hoping Wright can get healthy. A good pass rusher can help win some big games down the road. Edds can probably be waived and sent to practice squad. If claimed, no biggie. And, the other one is either newly signed Adams or Bolden. Not sure we need 6 cb's. Would rather pick up a safety. NFL teams never make trades. Any available though before the deadline.

Good to hear that Glass-I is okay.

As long as you don't mean a Zeke Mowatt moment, I'm good with that

A Ben Franklin

We might as well call it a Tom Brady because as usual he is money of late, but the streak ends Sunday. Should be a shootout, but Fitz well destroy your secondary.

I took the bills at -3.5 last week, only to watch their defense make Jason Campbell look like an all pro. Even if Fitz does torch our secondary (which could happen, but won't if Johnson doesn't play), Brady will do absolutely unspeakable things to the Bills' D. Your cornerbacks and safeties (and especially whatever poor **** is tasked with covering Gronk) will be coming out of this game with a thousand-yard stare.

Johnson will play. Believe me there is no groin injury only cramping from last game. Stevie will be out there Sunday making McCourty look silly.

I defer to your up close and personal insight into Johnson's (no double entendre intended) groin

I really hope you plan on coming back around here after the game. Don't be like most of the Chargers trolls last week. All "Toldozer" this and "unstoppable" that and "suffocating D" right up until the game started, then nowhere to be found afterwards.
