Re: Myron Pryor to IR

I feel bad for Pryor. He seemed to be off to a good start and this obviously kills the rest of his season. Let's hope that Cohen can step up.

Re: Myron Pryor to IR

I like Pryor a lot too, and I feel as though he can be a good, solid DT.

At least the bad news happened at a position of depth though.

Re: Myron Pryor to IR

#@%@#%ing Chargers.

Re: Per Reiss Tweets: Looks Like Landon Cohen in for Mike Wright

The Chargers beat the crap out of the Pats in that game.....Too many injuries to Pats to my liking.......would be nice to see the Pats go thru a game unscathed for once.....

At this rate, they'll be playing their backups vs Jets and we'll hear the SOS from the SOJ fans....

At least they don't have to play the Ratbirds AND Squeelers this year. . . .

And the hits keep on coming.

The board will correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure he entered the season with the groin injury. He apparently re-aggrevated it.

One has to wonder if this one falls on the medical staff for letting him play on it or if maybe it was just Myro himself ignoring it/playing thru it.

Re: Myron Pryor to IR

To answer my own question about why Cohen and why not G Warren, Reiss responds to someone else with the same query:

"Need to replace Wright/Cohen inside, and they play a penetrating style [than G Warren]. Cohen more in that mold."

Re: Myron Pryor to IR

Sucks, but not a huge blow.

IF Wright can fill his spot, not a huge loss. But, it hurts to lose the best interior rusher on the team.

Re: Myron Pryor to IR

Just listening to Patriots Game day on CSN and they are saying its NOT Pryor, but Dan Koppen that is going to IR. Maybe its both. We will all know the truth at 4pm EST when the injury report comes out

We are going to need to make two moves as reportedly Cohen and Phillip Adams have been added to the 53.

If you believe the best interior rusher is Pryor, then sure.

I would say Wright is the better of the two and you still have Vince and Haynesworth. So while he was a good interior rusher I would agree with you.

It's curious that we didn't add a punter with the two IR's. I hope Zoltan is OK.

Not surprisingly it looks like there will be plenty of openings when/if our guys start coming off PUP. Actually turning out to be a good thing that we could stash some there.

The injury bug feasts on Pat blood again.

Wow, I would have assumed some other team would have snagged him minutes after he was cut.

Seattle did claim him, but then released him after Week 1.
