Re: Geez, I Hope This Doesn't Mean Bad News for Ras-I

Hopefully he's just quality depth. Anybody know anything about this guy?

Re: Geez, I Hope This Doesn't Mean Bad News for Ras-I

Kyle Arrington was banged up too in that game. Might just need the depth.

Re: Geez, I Hope This Doesn't Mean Bad News for Ras-I

Certainly hope not.

The Ras-IR-Dowling label may continue. It's a shame for a player with such obvious skills and talent to be constantly battling injuries at every level of his playing. High school, college, and now possibly the pros.

Prayers for Ras-I.

Re: Geez, I Hope This Doesn't Mean Bad News for Ras-I

Maybe shmessy should wait for actual news. He may be right but he's probably wrong and he's just guessing.

Re: Geez, I Hope This Doesn't Mean Bad News for Ras-I

My first assumption would be that the addition of Phillips is simply to improve the depth in the secondary, not that Dowling or someone else such as Arrington is going to be out for an extended period of time.

Guys can we at least wait for the Injury Report before we freak out!

Re: Geez, I Hope This Doesn't Mean Bad News for Ras-I

Why is he not practice squad eligible? What are the rules for that?

Re: Geez, I Hope This Doesn't Mean Bad News for Ras-I

If so, sorry, but that's total glass. I had hopes for the guy.

Thank you Debbie Downer

Let's just wait and see first. If he is injured, the "Ras-IR" label will only grow to ridiculous proportions around here.

I agree that IF so, he certainly will have the made of glass stigma for awhile.

Like others have said, we had injuries to both he and Arrington, so it may be a depth move.

I hope not. What once was a position of incredible depth and strength (secondary overall) is beginning to have some cracks in the foundation...we already have some problems/questions/growing pains at safety, let's hope that the CB position can have some good luck.

You become ineligible for practice squad after X accrued seasons I believe 3 or if you were active for X amount of games I believe 8.

Geez, just heard BB's weekly presser and aside from the atypical Bills testicle bathing.. he failed to mention nothing about this :confused::confused::confused:

Thanks, it's the X amount of games I didn't know about and was surprised that he's ineligible in his second year, but that explains it.

Another team would sign him to their roster in a heartbeat if the Pats tried to place him on the Practice Squad.

Edit: I thought you were referring to Dowling, not Arrington. As noted above Arrington is not eligible for the PS. Regardless, either one would never clear waivers if the team tried to put them on the PS.

Breaking News! Ras-I Dowling was not seen in the media portion of practice. For that fact, neither have the 52 other players on the roster since the media portion of the practice hasn't started.

How can we field a team with that many injuries?

Agree totally with this

He was referring to the guy we signed Phillip Adams not Ras-I.

Is/was Adams any good?
