Was he injured, is that why they cut him? Anyway, he might make more sense than the 2nd Gronkowski who is maily good at picking up offsides penalties. That is if Hernandez will be out a month or so, which seems like a good bet.

How dare you suggest a de-Gronk-ing of the Patriots...shame on you....Gronks gonna find you and shut you down.:D

I think he may get the call if they deem Hernandez's injury is going to keep him out for more than just the one or two games that we're hearing. He's not much of a receiver anymore, so I also wouldn't be surprised if they went another route.

Crumpler would be a good replacement for Gronk2 but I don't see how having less Gronk would be a good thing. If anything, more Gronk.

If Hernandez is out for a long time. I would think they'd bring up Millls from the PS.

An offensive player is good at picking up offsides penalties?

WE MUST TRADE FOR THE 3RD GRONK!!!! We have no other option at this point....when they combine we will witness MEGAGRONK :robot:

It is much like this, but w/ the GRONK's it is the power of 3 Captain Planet Intro - YouTube
when every GRONK is united then the SUPER GRONK is unleashed and when that happens the team with SUPER GRONK will be UNSTOPPABLE:singing::cool::singing:

No,I am afraid he is happily married with children

Although there are other big TEs that are single...you might want to check on thier status to see if they're dating steady or not.

Not sure what all the concern is - Chad will get more plays until Aaron returns is how I see it.

Chad needs to find out how to get open more often if he wants the ball....those 2 catches were something we need to see more of

I guess Crumpler has been crumpled then.

And offensive players it's a "false start" of course...not much consolation watching him false start instead of "go offsides" but whatever. He seems to be really good at it. Maybe he keeps his brother company? Is that worth a roster spot?

Yes, it would be good to see them do different things with the offense, more 3WR just to get experience doing it.

So what makes you think he won't? He was open on his targeted plays Sunday. It's obvious there is yet to be more game planning for him but i think he's ready to fill the void and he can get open in those areas. We're not going to replace Aaron with any retread or FA out there - that's not happening. More calls to the people we already have.

This must be the same keen eye for talent that led you to question why the Patriots would pay Mankins significantly more than Brian Waters.

We have Solder who was originally a tight end. The Alge Crumpler role is mainly as a blocker and of course Nate can do that too.
