That's arguably their best players on both sides of the ball (Berry) done for the year. This team is toast...

Looks like it might be KC and Jax going for the 1st pick overall!

I feel bad for the Chiefs. They had built themselves into respectability, then devastating injuries derail their season. They are in big trouble over there in KC. Can Cassel and the other players step it up, or is it over already?

It's hard to feel sorry for them when, by all accounts, Haley is one of the biggest jerks in the NFL and the team quit on him even before this week. Before the Charles and Berry injuries, I would have said Haley should be canned immediately to try to salvage their season. Now they should probably just look forward to a high draft pick next year.

I think the Colts will be in that mix too - they are lost without Manning. Next up for Indy: Pittsburgh coming to town - I'd say a 0-3 start is pretty much in the cards.

The bad thing about the Colts tanking this year is that Andrew Luck could be in the Colts stable next year at this time- tutoring under Peyton of course.

As long as they beat out the Colts for the rights to Andrew Luck, because we all know at this point that King Polian has gave the word to the Colts to start tanking with Luck on the radar.

They want to throw Cassel with the water. I will be surprised if they don't go for a QB in the off season. FA or draft.

I think I dislike Todd Haley about as much as Rex. No tears from me...

Disliking Todd Haley has nothing to do with disliking the Chiefs. They've been decimated by injuries this season, injuries to multiple and key personnel.

Just terrible "luck".

Well, no one can guarantee Andrew Luck will be a great NFL QB anyway. Winning the draft sweepstakes would be a very bitter victory no matter what.

Why?

I don't like teams that pilfer us for assets, especially ones led by brash, temperamental tool bags.

Haley can suck it.

(there are individual players I like on the Chiefs, but no more than any other team)

The Chiefs have definitely been hit by the injury bug.. First Berry, then a couple of other starters who were jags or above, and now Charles.. That can't be good for the team. And there was a lot of promise on that team.

As for "pilfering" Pats players, some people just need to get a clue. I have no issue with the Chiefs picking up players cut by the Pats. Guys like Ryan O'Callaghan (who was one of the players to hit IR) or Lee Smith. It's not like Smith was going to be kept around. And if you seriously have your panties in a wad over Lee Smith, you have bigger problems to go and deal with..

Why do you dislike an entire team and organization on the strength of one person? It's sheer stupidity.

Football is a business. The Chiefs main concern is the Chiefs. They're doing what's within their rights as an organization. The Patriots happen to be a provider of talent both administratively and football wise. The fact that the Pats are continually head hunted as an organization speaks volumes about the quality of the Patriots organization.

Do they have any safeties?

Between the Chiefs and Colts and their injuries, I think just hand the divisions over to Houston and San Diego and get it over with.

I actually think both teams will clinch their divisions by week 13....only Oakland could give SD a challenge

Any team considering Josh as their next head coach is by definition, toast.

Now you see why the "Chiefs cut Waters, he must be done" arguments were so foolish. Teams do dumb things. He must feel like he won the lottery getting away from Haley and getting to come here.

Time for change!

It really pisses me off

What are our major flaws??
Major flaws?

1. We suck on Offense.

2. We suck on Defense.

3. We suck on Special Teams.

4. We suck at coaching.

.... and we have a few dolts here who pine on about our pass rush and secondary while we are 2-0 and have almost totally revamped the defense which will take at least 1/2 a season to get in tune.

Life is good being a patriots fan all things NFL considered.

I don't loathe the Chiefs or anything. I also harbor no special feelings towards them. I bet BB was just thrilled and flattered when the Jets showed much they value our organization by landing Mangini to be their HC...

I'll break it down even more simply,

Reasons to like the Chiefs:

Reasons to not like the Chiefs: Todd Haley, poaching Scott Pioli, they're in our conference, Bernard Pollard and the hit
