What in the world happened to Pioli's reasoning , he made a mistake with Haley, the man came up short in every way possible as a head coach but, right under his nose is RAC.

Bill failed with the Browns and (thankfully for us got another chance) Romeo should get another chance too. He has as many rings as Bill (PANIC ALERT,PANIC ALERT- this is where some Quick Draw McGraw writes in and asks if I think Romeo is as good as Bill) which shows a very high degree of competency and his players liked and admired him too. When he first went to the Browns, I thought it was a mistake to try and rebuild a team under GM Savage, a man who believed you could rebuild through the draft alone.

Here's hoping Scott gives him a second chance.

If this thread has moved you half as much as the moderator will move it, that's all anyone could ask.

I too think Romeo would make a good coach. I think he was making progress in a bad situation at Cleveland and was handling big baby Winslow fairly well.

Bad situations can kill most coaches, especially with a GM with a separate agenda. Good post IMO, except Pioli should be able to hire who he wants, if he indeed has that power.

And the reason this thread hasn't been moved is. . . .

Since Piloli left I still never understood why he brought in "his" players when it was Haley who was doing the coaching. It was a bad match from the start imo. At least a player Pioli covets RAC would probably feel the same way.

it's Patriots related.

Once a Patriot...

Should the Drew Bledsoe Pats HOF thread have been moved cause he was a Bill and a Cow?
