Hilarious Stuff... They were so amped when we didnt convert on 4th down. Then 5 minutes later Tolbert fumbles.. priceless reactions lol

Haley, yes.

But replacing Cassel is not the answer. Heck, even if they God forbid ended up with the #1 pick, I'm not sure that Luck would be the answer.

Reading their fan reactions is so hilarious. That must have been such a frustrating game for them to watch. I am so glad I'm not a Bolts fan. They were already expecting their team to shoot themselves in the foot and that feeling of dread was only confirmed on gameday.

This was posted by one of their fans in that game thread at about the half-time mark:

"I don't whine like this often, but we are getting so out coached it's embarrassing to watch. Yes, PR made a mistake, but we should have more points on the board."

"Wow. Hard not to put at least ten points on the coaching staff there. What an awful half of football. I really believe that our team is afraid to go into Foxborough and win. They coached and played like a team that is terrified of the opponent."

"Coverage sucks. Spikes was clueless out there. Sanders is unable to cover. Weddle can't cover. They look confuse when tom brady does hurry up offense. Pathetic. Final 8 seconds, we give them 15 yards tio kick a FG. "

"It's ok we were predicted to lose this game anyways. It's september and facing NE at home. What did you think? We aren't the packers. We can't beat anybody anywhere anytime."

"Same ridiculousness....different season.....oh well....."

"Amateurs vs. Pros!!! At least we don't have to see another 20 yard Novak kick off again"

This team needs to go into Foxboro, and [not] leave it all on the field [or] execute, [or] play with passion and intensity [or] eliminate stupid mental mistakes.

Done, done, done, and done.

Silver has a piece on Yahoo today. He writes that Haley and Pioli are at each other's throat and if Pioli does fire Haley, he'd go after non other than Josh McDaniels to be the Chiefs next HC!

3) I believe that if Pioli fires Haley, he’ll try to hire his old New England colleague Josh McDaniels, he of the disastrous tenure as Broncos head coach that included dubious personnel moves too numerous to mention, a cheating scandal and five victories in his final 22 games. When McDaniels, currently the Rams’ offensive coordinator, becomes K.C.’s next head coach, count on two things: I’ll remind you that you heard it here first and you’re going to be treated to a real diatribe.

Chiefs fans, LOL.

McDaniels would be great for a couple of reasons. First, he's an excellent offensive coach, who did wonders with Orton and Lloyd even while serving as the Broncos head coach, and he'd have Pioli there to manage the talent acquisition end of things, which would allow him to focus more as he continued developing as a head coach.

Second, the Chiefs fans on at least one of their message boards would be looking for tall buildings and bridges to jump from, and it would be comedy gold.

Agreed. The real disaster of McDaniels' tenure in Broncos was in drafting and free agency. Assuming that the Chiefs decide to spend within $30M of the salary cap at some point in the next couple of years, I could see Pioli/McDaniels being a pretty effective tandem.

If you want to see comedy go to the KC chiefs message boards (first result on google can't remember the name). No player is safe, no poster is safe, calling each other's mom w****'s, it's a complete mess over there.

Just from your description, I'm guessing that's Chiefs Planet, which is run by the same webmaster who runs Patriots Planet. Those folks have been, well, unhinged for years now. . . .

Chiefsplanet, which may be the best team message board on the internet, but it's not for those who get offended at being called 'harsh' things.

That's the one. It might be the best one I've been to as well

Josh made the exact same mistake that Mangina made and that was taking a head-coaching job before they were ready. Actually check that, the clowns who hired them made the mistake, I wouldn't expect anyone to turn down head-coaching money.

I just wonder how much it bothers a guy like Belichick, who paid his dues big-time before getting his shot, when he sees these coordinators come into the league, have a good season or two and are suddenly considered head-coaching material.

To be fair, there are some good, levelheaded posters there, and some were very willing to give credit to opponents making plays.

Wonder how our own jcdavey is doing?

Unlike jets forums..every other team's message board isn't bad

Best forum to laugh at? Giants forum...talk about doom and gloom..it's hilarious

this stuff is GOLD

---------------------

This is our dream match-up and will be the most rewarding victory of the season. 5 reasons the Bolts will destroy the Cheatriots:
1) Pats defense is still the worst in the league (3 years straight now?). See Miami's first possession as Exhibit A.
2) The Bolts knew that the Vikings were an easy win and they've been game planning for the Patsies all off-season.
3) Powder Puffs Patsies are one dimensional. Put pressure on Lady Brady and they have nothing; seriously, nothing at all.
4) Belicheat wouldn't dare use cameras to cheat on us again.
5) Chargers have always owned the Patsies and always will.

Chargers - 45
Patsies - 3

I'll be nice and just say,

How can any Charger fan be as asbackwards stupid-fool failure at life to make any of the above comments? Seriously....I'd like to read a single LOGICAL explanation.

Also, I used get upset about the "cheat-word"...now when I read it, my heart fills with joy knowing it's just a reflection of ignorance and envy.:D

I thought for the most part the board was knowledgeable and their fans recognized their deficiencies. Not a bad crowd at all. We've had a few very good posters from San Diego over here but for the most part we seem to have had some pretty bad trolls the week leading up to the game.

I agree with their majority assessment that they need a new coach. Norv is holding that team back from doing great things in this league.

Jets Insider is the best for LOLs in their game threads.

Ummm . . . BB actually felt that Josh WOULD be ready/nearly ready to take a HC gig after 2008, and actually met with Josh to help prepare him.
