Nobody else finds it odd that SMY was able to get information about a diagnosis and timetable for return from an organization known for not discussing injury specifics? Not saying it's not true, just seems like an un-Patriot way.

I hope that she is right.... I was worried it was worse. I don't think we need him to beat Buffalo. Either bring Garrett up or mix Solder into more TE, or scheme it for more traditional 3 WR sets.

Now we'll get to see if Ocho really is "getting it". Perhaps even have a Price sighting.

98.5 just added a Curran report that it may be more like 4-6 weeks.

Tom Curran is comfirming the injury, but he is saying that it is likely that Hernandez will be out 4-6 weeks...Hopefully Young is right as far as the timetable goes.

After how this guy botched the reports on Brady's injury, I don't trust any info he puts out about injuries for this team. Hernandez will return when he is better. This offense is too deep for one guy to effect them. Hell, we haven't seen Price, Vereen or Edelman get involved yet.

Jets game in jeopardy. I think one of the main reason we lost the playoff game was because Herno was injured.

Rapaport tweeted it first, but SMY made it official. Hernandez took a helmet to the knee from that ****** Sanders.

Good news is that our next two games are at the Bills and at the Raiders, not exactly cream of the crop right there.

well hes not on ir and we will have him half way thru the year. i can still live with that. its all about playoffs anyway.

That would make it a 2nd degree MCL sprain, and I don't think Hernandez would have stayed in for 6 more plays after suffering one if that were the case.

I didn't see that. The Chargers played dirty yesterday, kept going for Brady's legs and other crap.

That would make it a 2nd degree MCL sprain, and I don't think Hernandez would have stayed in for 6 more plays after suffering one if that were the case.

4-6 weeks is typical recovery for grade 1 MCL sprains. 2nd's add another 2 weeks or so.

That little **** Sander keep aiming at the knees or head on the TEs yesterday. He did it twice on the head of Gronk, but only to have himself knock down. If OchoCinco didn't get tripped on that 30 yards catch, Sander was literally flying in on that play.

Well if it's only 1-2 weeks that's not too bad. We're gonna miss him of course but then the rest of the team just has to step up while he's gone. Hopefully 2 week is the most that Hernandez will be out.

Does that mean someone gets cut and Mills comes up from the PS ? He's nowhere near the talent of Hernanadez, but he does play the small TE role.

That's great news IMO. We should be able to make it through the next 2 games without him, and he would have 3 full weeks to rest up for the Jets game where he's definitely needed.
