I would make some sort of bird-on-bird joke, but I don't want to give Vick any ideas.

Great game so far, with Matt Ryan just throwing for a TD to make it 7-0 Falcons.

Why bastardize one team's name in a mocking manner, and not both? I wouldn't assume a Pats fan to have any particular bias in an NFC game.

The Failcons would be a good one.

Yep...this is going to be a fun matchup!

Again with the stupid tiffany promos. The show looks awful. I am so sick of all the stupid gender politics during NFL games. NBC sucks.

The Eagles are reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally fast.

Wow, that was utterly pathetic from Ray Edwards. Yes, I know he's a 270 pound guy used to moving at most 10 yards every minute or so. But to run out of gas like that is embarrassing.

Outside of college level sprinters, everyone is getting hawked by DeSean Jackson there. Props to the defensive lineman to pick up the fumble off the bounce.

I don't blame him for getting caught, but after about 50 yards, he slowed down dramatically and his form turned to crap. Dan Connolly never did that. Wilfork looked fine for his 40 yards.

To be fair, I don't think Wilfork or Connolly moved as fast, either. When that lactic acid hits your muscles, it's a done deal. He hit the proverbial "wall". Hard.

Yep, I saw that, and I know the feeling. I've just never seen a guy get hit that hard after so little running.

Running full out in about twenty lbs of gear for fifty yards isn't a walk in the park, especially for a guy who's conditioned to run in extremely short bursts. The wall and DeSean Jackson overcame him though.

Everyone just watch Page piggyback TG to the end zone.?

Speaking for myself, I will always be a Matt Ryan fan. As long as he doesn't play the Pats. :cool3:

Question on challenges... Collinsworth just said Philly has 2 challenges left because their first challenge was successful. Is that true? Or is Philly out of challenges is their next challenge fails? I always thought you only got an extra challenge if the first 2 are successful but I could be wrong.

I think you are correct, if you get the 1st 2 right you get a 3rd.

But I think Chicken-Wing was assuming that he would win the challenge (would have) and thus would still have a challenge.

Samuel's still got his knack.

Mike Vick is Robo-Romo. The great plays are even greater and the dumb plays are even dumber. It's as if their bodies are diametrically opposed. Vick's play-making rises above Romo at the same rate as his brain falls below him.

That's a clean pick. All the way. Outstanding play.
