Great game there. Rivers and co. definitely gave our secondary fits all day. They'd be a tough matchup for us anytime.

Sometimes I shudder to think how good Rivers would be if not for the ACL injury and still was as mobile as pre-injury... he probably would've got in on some of those scrambles near the GL.

Actually, Rivers has always been this slow. He is a statue, like Tom Brady. But, at least he makes up for it with pin-point accuracy.

And quite ugly and unsportsmanlike, much like their many feigned "injuries" in the first half, in a fraudulent attempt to slow the Pats' tempo.

Good game. I have to hand it to the Bolts, it was a goof game.

Even with all of the mistakes you guys made, it was still an interesting game.

The game could have been quite close, save for a few turnovers. I'll give credit where credit is due to the defense - Rivers got his yards but Gates was taken out of the equation and they got the ball back for the offense. Patriots are simply hard to beat when the defense is winning the ball back and Brady is playing error free. I hope the defense can do this against similarly skilled offenses in January.

I'm sure the Chargers are still looking at the top spot in the AFC West. Just do not get swept by th Raiders again.

All QBs seem faster in college than they are in the pros. The reason being that college defenses aren't as fast as pro defenses.

Rivers is definitely fearless. I recognized that fact, his first game as a starter back in 2006 when he stepped into his throw even with Warren Sapp about to hit him:

I don't think it's a stretch. The Colts aren't going to be a factor because Peyton Manning is injured. The Steelers look like they're going to have another post-Super bowl season where they don't make the playoffs. That leaves only the Jets standing in our way during the playoffs. If we can get past them then it's Bolts vs. Pats AFC championship game assuming the two teams get 1st and 2nd seed.
