With a space open. one wonders who they may add to the 53. Scott is out...so will it be a TE like Kranchick?? or maybe NT Thomas?? Or???? I doubt at this point they would add a player NOT associated with the team...OR might they go with only a 52 man squad??? I had thought possibly a RB..but none on the PSqd...

Well, analyzing the list:

C Brian Barthelmes - Mruc is on the roster, so he's not likely.
P Danny Baugher - Saurbrun gets the gig, but they could always decide to bring him up and give him a shot for a game experience within a specific situation. Unlikely though I'd think.
T Sean Bubin - Unless he came in with great natural strength, I don't see them thinking that he's ready for the roster - then again, they could be expecting things to be so physical in the trenches that they want the depth at OT.
WR/CB Bam Childress - this is my first choice off the P-Squad, he gives Brady a second and younger Troy Brown to work with.
TE Matt Kranchick - Perhaps for straight blocking, anyone know how he is as a blocker?
P Tom Malone - I don't see it.
CB James Patrick - He was here before so he may know the calls and stuff, he could also be a STs candidate if he's a good tackler.
DL Santonio Thomas - He would be a good DE, but we've got lots of them, unlikely unless my fantasy line-up of 5 DL and 2 LBs comes to pass.

My #1 choice would be to bring back Guss Scott, with Bam my #2...place your bets, the Belichick is wild...

Since only 45 is active for the jags game, there's no hurry to sign anybody yet. You never know though..

I would love to see "Bam" on the roster...with Watson out that means Graham is in more....like to see someone make them honest underneath.

I've come to the realization BAM is not gonna get a chance this year.

A LB.

When did they clone Troy, Box? I didn't hear about that.

Bam's playing style reminds me a great deal of Troy's, just with younger legs and a bit less experience. He'll do until they come up with a better option.

He has shown some ability to adjust his route.

Why do you believe that Bam is better than Kight? The FO doesn't seem to think so. BTW, there is no reason to have another WR active. I vote for adding a linebacker. A linebacker might actually be active for the TENN game.

If it's Bam or Mays, I'd take Mays, assuming Thomas fills Watson's place. No LB on the PS list according to Box. Thought we were filling the 53rd spot.

Big shoes to fill, my friend. If he's another Troy he'll make it onto the roster somehow, though.:D

Mays is on the 53....so??? I mighth say Bam..but that would be jackson out and Bam would be the 5th receiver...so that is unlikely...Good analysis Box...doesn't really look like who theu would bring in...Patrixk or Kranchick???
Really..they may keep it open depending on injuries..and MAYBE bring in a LB if needed...

I love Bam ... even if he's the 7th receiver.

Nice to see you on the roster "Bam Bam".

I agree that the staff brought Kight up before Bam here at the end of the season, injury, blocking/STs ability, who knows? I do know Bam was more productive in pre-season, as I saw it, and apparently as they saw it when they brought him up for a game early in the season.

Obviously today's news answers the question, whether he is activated or is earning an active minimum salary for the week the way they rewarded Billy Yates in SB-XXXIX is yet to be determined. I would try and activate him and see what he can do in the passing game, can't hurt much at this point.
