Enough namby pambying around gentlemen and gentleladies, vote and comment so we can see where we are collectively with our newest veteran wide receiver.

I still think it will take a bit of time (maybe october) before we see the real Ocho but I would be surprised if they dont try to get him some action sunday after a quite game and the Bru comments I would think they would want to shut everyone up already.

Maybe one or two. I say Ocho doesn't get any significant yardage until after the bye

I expect multiple receptions.

I'm hoping Brady doesn't force feed him the ball (like he did Randy at times) and get picked once or twice.

I'd love to be able to talk about his number of targets and receptions, but Belichick hasn't emailed me the game plan yet.

forward it to me when he does

I will. I'd have done that in the past, but it's always been sent to me totally unsolicited. I just figured it was a mass email. You know how open BB is about this stuff, after all.

What?!? It's your week to e-mail the game plan to Belichick! We're not paying you to sit around and squawk all day on this thing. Oh no! It's too late!

Then be sure to come back and vote in this poll after the game.

1 to 3, the normal (and 2010) range for the #3 and #4 WR's together.

There are at least 5 targets likely to get more attention by Brady: Welker, Branch, Hernandez, Gronkowski, and Woodhead.

I don't expect a lot of catches by Ochocinco, Edelman, Slater and Price. If we get 3 catches per game from this entire group, it would more than last year, and almost all of us think that Brady threw too much last year.

I'll have to wait until BB sends me the "all 22", just to be sure.

I tend to agree, for this game and for the 2011 season, in general. And I am therefore shocked that the Pats gave Ochocinco a $4.5 million signing bonus for this season.

Is a $4.5 million bonus the type of money third or fourth receivers past their prime normally receive, especially on the Patriots?

I think you'll find this team going with more 3 receiver sets once it's comfortable with Johnson's level of play.

I think Ocho will get more involved in this offense as the season goes along but what we don't want to do is force the offense. Once Ocho starts making plays and Brady builds confidence in him, he'll be a good weapon for us. He still appears to have the quickness and speed to create separation from the defense. It appears now that anything left is mental, reading the defense the same way as Brady and then reacting off that to break off to the proper route.

As for as predictions I'm hoping for at least 5 targets. However many catches he makes is all on Ocho but if he gets going early, that will mean more passes going his way the rest of the game as well.

Ocho receptions:

75% when he gets open and TFB sees he's open.

BTW,this is a moot point.

All I care is the gameplan allows the Pats to win.

3 for 27 and a touchdown.

What difference does it make how many receptions/yards/carries/TD passes anyone has? I just want NE to win the game.
