I happen to visit the bolts fan site to see what they were saying . Obviously, they are very confident.... at least they are more knowledgeable and not abusive like Jets fans are ......

The Official San Diego Chargers Forum

Go Pats....

Tolerant? I got banned from there because my location on that forum said "Your mother's ass", hence my location on this forum.

the Vikings are a playoff caliber team...we just whooped their rear...that was a testament of our ability, as the #1 Defense in the NFL.

The real season is already here....

Gotta love this post

This is our dream match-up and will be the most rewarding victory of the season. 5 reasons the Bolts will destroy the Cheatriots:
1) Pats defense is still the worst in the league (3 years straight now?). See Miami's first possession as Exhibit A.
2) The Bolts knew that the Vikings were an easy win and they've been game planning for the Patsies all off-season.
3) Powder Puffs Patsies are one dimensional. Put pressure on Lady Brady and they have nothing; seriously, nothing at all.
4) Belicheat wouldn't dare use cameras to cheat on us again.
5) Chargers have always owned the Patsies and always will.

Chargers - 45
Patsies - 3

at least some of them .....are not deranged....

I do enjoy the fact that ...many keep posting to put pressure on Brady he will fold.......

I didn't know that was rocket science......

Yeah,they've owned us

I wish we could have beaten them in that AFCCG a few years ago but they were too good and we were not worthy

One said he would be happy with a 28-21 win... As if that isn't enough...
You should be thanking god if you won by a single point.
I'm very confident heading to this game, the Chargers will be no match, especially in Boston.

I like this post from "Spookster SD" ....damn funny

Our defense is still less than stellar. Its shaky and not always consistent. One minute we're shutting down the run game...another it looks like the opposing offense is out there alone. We're definitely not looking like a superbowl team out there.

Our offensive line...that, is still a major suck, as it has been for a few years now. We are average to less than average in that department. If we don't put up a wall against the Pats, they're going to pressure Rivers all game and eat him alive, cause fumbles, bad throws...you name it.

Our tackling sucks majorly. What's with all the pattycake BS I've been seeing out there? Our guys falling over themselves after open-hand slaps and jumping in the air & missing the ball carrier completely. What happened to fundamentals? Seriously, we look pathetic when it comes to tackling. Its embarrassing. I was watching last Sunday's game with a Pats fan and a Jets fan and they kept replaying our missed tackles and laughing.

We best work out the kinks and start playing like we WANT TO win out there, or the better teams are going to just hand us L's. We are better than this.

And because I have to mention it: Norv STILL calling pathetic run plays on almost every 1st down like clockwork and failing miserably....speechless.

I don't see anyone getting blown out, Brady has been okish vs the chargers defense with the exception of the first game of 07. Rivers really only had one good game vs the pats and that was 08 and he got to play vs Deltha O'Neal(worse season any starting corner has ever had). I think Pats win a squeeker. Will come down to the running game to decide it and I think pats get a goal line stop at the end and win 24-20.

That guy is nuts lol. We had one play where we tackled poorly against AP. I'll take that.

How many were you playing in the box against the corpse of McNabb and the receiver-less Vikes? 10 or 11?

And how long did it take you to come up with your screen name? It's quite clever.

The Chargers are usually pretty good by the end of the year. They usually start slow, but they got a W in game 1 this year. I can't blame their fans for being optimistic.

The game will probably be close. I think that Pats win by less than a TD. I would not be shocked if we lost, but the Pats have a pretty solid record at home. Should be a great game!

Whoever this guy is, he is on meth more than Charlie Sheen!

This is how Chargers fans are every year. They beat their chests and strut around for a week, then the Pats beat them and they shut quiet down for another year.

They should be confident, the Chargers are a great team. San Diego are serious Super Bowl contenders in 2011, as are the Patriots, you guys think their fans should be fearing our team in any way? Why exactly?

You know what I love. that every team in the last decade feels they have to overcome the monkey on their back (which is beating the Patriots). The Colts did it (though it took a fever-depleted defense for that to happen...and well you guys know the history of that game).

The Steelers haven't done it yet, though they have 2 SBs. The Ravens can make a claim and so can the Jets, but they've yet to win it all.

The Chargers have had some good opportunities and Brady has registered some less than average outings against them. Until the Chargers can maintain that level for 60 minutes, they'll always come up short.

I don't think most of them know how much poetnial this team has and I think they will be in for a shock. Especially when our running game takes over (if our TE's allow that to happen ;) ).

I'm still trying to figure out when the Vikings became a playoff caliber team.

I don't see any Great team yet this year. It takes several to even start to be great. SD does have a decent team, but you're forgetting one very important part. Norv Turner

At Least we see Rivers in 1st half!!! is he not TERMINATOR in the 2nd part of the year? I always thought he played his best after/near mid-season

Some SD fans are like that, true. Just like some of our fans talk about we're a lock for another SB because of regular season wins. Fans are fans. Trust me, it's not something in SD's water.
