Get used to it. The Pats are gonna put up a lot of points this season. And teams playing from behind will rack up garbage time yards/points with a lot of passes.
Every rule change and decision has been leading to that. Receivers can go where ever they want now and have no fear of being hit.Is this what the NFL has come to? Basketball in pads?
one thing I've noticed more than usual...offensive P.I. is rampant...all the big WR's push off on the smaller DB's to get separation...

Good thing we finally have big corners huh?
You should keep in mind that the lockout has had this effect on more than a few teams in Week 1. The Bills put up a 40burger on the Chiefs yesterday, for crying out loud. I'm going to withhold judgment on our defense as a whole until a few weeks from now. There were busted coverages all over the place for both teams. The one thing I will say, however, is that Josh Barrett has to play better. He was lost in coverage quite a few times tonight and bit hard on that TD earlier in the game. If he doesn't play better, the personnel decisions on Meriweather and Sanders will look like bad ones.
Impressive display Brady and crew put up. Pats broke OBrian and Marino's record. So I did some googleing.

How's it feel to have the 4th best QB in the division? Only way Sanchize makes that combined pass yards list list is if Brady throws for 700.
