Every freaking year!! Did you all hear the stat early in the game that the jets recover 70% of fumbles? Tonight, stupid-ass romo fumbles at the one and who recovers? Jets. Then last year, we all know they should have lost like 4 games but for the stupidity of the other team, and the year before Rex didn't even know they still had a shot at the playoffs. ARGHHH!!! I hate those posers so much!!! And they keep lucking out!! Its so not fair that loudmouth arrogant bastards keep lucking out!! I'm so pissed.

They make plays when they need too. There's nothing lucky about it when they do it game after game.

It don't even bother me anymore. You can only get lucky so many times, and it always catches up with them in the playoffs. If you're used to getting bailed out by ****ty teams/players you have a tougher time in big games like AFCC. Plus it's just odds and statistics you're luck is bound to run out eventually.

I hate the Jets as much as the next man but you sound like a baby. Their luck does run out, every year. Last time I check they hadn't won the Superbowl since the Nixon Administration

2001 Patriots are just lucky

2003 Patriots are just lucky

2004 (well, we kicked ass, that year)

The point is, play hard and well and minimize mistakes and other teams will self destruct. We're going to have to beat those scummy Jets, let's not live in denial.

I feel the exact same way. When are they gonna run out of Lucky Charms? All they ever do is catch breaks at the end of games. I... can't... stand it!!!

I agree. But whatever it is, it's freaky. I just posted this in the game thread:

What a strange team the Jets are. Every good team occasionally wins in wild, ugly ways, but have you ever seen a team do that consistently -- almost exclusively?

I won't dismiss it as mere luck. They tend to make the wild wooliness happen when they need it. But it's also hard to call them a good team when they generally look a hot mess and require multiple unlikely, game-changing plays in the last 10 minutes to pull out a win. Weird stuff.

This is the correct answer.

Now if you want to talk about how they got lucky and backed into the playoffs the past two seasons, you might be on to something.

Otherwise, in the examples you gave, they are just playing tough football and making their own luck.

They are very lucky..but have no clue what a lombardi trophy looks like

Hey..let see them back into the wildcard spot again this year

You forget the 2003 season?

I disagree about the 2003 season.

That team lost its first game while still in shock over Milloy and finished the season with 15 consecutive victories. They were a tour de force.

The game in Indy was won by great play at the end. It wasn't the stupid interception-palooza this was tonight. Brady never got away with as many stupid interceptions as Sanchez does. Even the game when Patten caught the ball knocked out on his back was not the slop give away tournament this was.

Dez was moving like George Burns out there and Romo is trying to force the ball to him. I swear I saw him actually beg NOT to be thrown to.

In true Ryan fashion I expect Rob to sucker punch the Dallas OC anytime soon.

OT: Tony Romo is a LOSER

He sucks. BB once said "stats are for losers, the final score is for winners." Romo is a perfect example of that. He might roll up over 300 yards and 2 tds but when the game is on the line he is the last starter in the league I would want on my team. I even said before the drive with the revis pick, I would pull romo right now because if he is in there I know he will **** it up. The cowboys will NEVER win a title with Romo as the QB. He pisses his pants anytime the pressure is on and he gives the game away. He gives them away. Period.

The Jets do make the plays. But is there a bigger choke artist then Tony Romo.He handed that game to the Jets. The fumble on the one yard line and the interception to Revis. Dallas will never win anytyhing with him at QB.

I agree that it is freaky but you also know it's going to happen. More often than not the Jets D stiffens when it needs to and Sanchez forgets his "bad Mark" QB ability when they need a play inside of 5 minutes remaining. It's probably a determining factor come playoffs that the Jets know how to close out close games.

Ironically, I felt tonight was more about Tony Romo than the Jets. He managed to lose the game for the Cowboys (in conjunction with some utterly strange play-calling by Garrett).

A better question is.............. How come the Cowboys ALWAYS find ways to lose nowadays?

That game said more about the Cowboys then the Jets. They should have scored about 40 points in the second half against that secondary.... It was a bunch of safties trying to play corner. A good QB would have torched them.

And when did Folk learn how to kick a FG..guy usually sucks

I see them start 3-0 easily. After that, watch their schedule
Sun, Oct 2 @ Baltimore

Sun, Oct 9 @ New England

Mon, Oct 17 vs Miami

Sun, Oct 23 vs San Diego

Then a bye, Bills and Pats again
So it is not going to be easy pancake there.

Agreed......... the dude has loser written all over him.

If I were to analyze it, I would say their defense pressures teams into weariness, like ****head Romo not being ready for the snap.

But really, I don't analyze it. They...win...games. that's all that matters. They kicked our ass when it counted last year. Worrying about luck or the refs is a losers lament, we need to match up and kick their butts and whatever happens with the rest of the league happens.

The Cowboys look like fast Eddie though, classic losers. Pile up lots of stats and screw up in the clutch and fail to convert TDs and 1st downs that a real effort would have (Witten).

I agree 100%. The look on Rob Ryan's face at the end said it all. "I bust my @ss developing this defensive game plan... and this clown throws it away..."

With all of that suck factor in effect, and the jets still needed some breaks to go their way to pull off a win... i guess it could be worse. I see the cowboys going 5-11, 6-10 this year if tonight is any indication of who they are.
