I was wondering how much money do the pats have left under the cap this year?

What the hell are we going to do with it and when??

The damn year is almost over what the hell.

One of the things the Pats can do is change NLTBE bonuses to LTBE bonuses. That would, in essence, use up the cap space and could, potentially, create cap space next year as well.

Seeing how we decided to have miny TC in December, I wouldn't expect them to do anything until the last minute. To many folks being signed and released.

And there may have already been some done, unknown to us (we did do that with a couple $M) with Koppen's new deal. Contracts can be tweaked all the time but unless a reporter gets it we don't know. It's easy to move future salary to an immediate bonus to accelerate the cap hit.

I do not believe that we can switch bonus labels as you suggest. However, there are various other methods.

We should all understand that
1) the monies will be pushed into 2007
2) we will likely never know all the details (Miguel will find out what he can and make estiamtes on the rest.

Over 1200 posts and you don't know about patscap.com?

I heard Bob Kraft was stocking the freezer to be ahead of the game for the off-season conditioning program when all of Woicik's special diets are started. Of course John Kraft may be playing the ponies on the side to occupy his time between business meetings...

I am serious little buddy, a guy with my stylish figure always thinks of stocking the freezer first! ;) As for buying Digger a new personality, I've been shopping for one with a little more assertiveness, just to see what's out there with the hope we can get a grant from the Krafts and get Digger more involved in some of the squabbles we get started. He really is just too shy and retiring and I hope to at least match him with your own outgoing and charming style. :singing:

This has been discussed adinfinitum.....like beating a dead horse...good grief...!!!!

I'm happy to say that Bob Kraft has announced that all unspent salary cap money will go to my non-profit foundation, the National Foundation for the Prevention of Natural Causes.

http://www.curenc.org/

Natural Causes claims more lives every year than ALL other diseases COMBINED!

Chances are YOU or SOMEONE YOU LOVE will DIE of Natural Causes....yet NO ONE is doing ANYTHING to find a Cure!!!!

This Holiday Season, support the National Foundation for the Prevention of Natural Causes (www.CureNC.org) as we seek to STOP this insidiously blatant killer once and for all.

YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!!

I also have concerns over this money. Past history indicates that

most of our good players who become free agents will leave the

team. We have a narrow window of about two months to re-sign

Graham, Samuel, and TBC. Our other potential free agents are

irrelevant.

All I will say to you is..IF you dom't like what this FO is doing..GO follow some loser team like the Cardinals.. you newbie loser!!

Jimke -
It would seem that you are behind on happenings. The Pats have alread made offers to Graham and Samuel in an attempt to get them signed.

As for TBC. He's not shown me anything worth of dropping big bucks on him. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he went into free agency and got very little in the way of an offer.

Presently we are trying to give some of that money to punters who do not belong in the NFL. Next...the rumor is we are going to sign 20 overweight @400+ lbs  young men and hold a biggest loser contest. Player who gets under 350lbs 1st gets to tryout for the team only to get cut and added to the roster on a rotating basis every week. :bricks:
