Re: Pats working out >

I wouldn't mind seeing them bring in Everette Brown. He was pretty highly regarded as a draft prospect.

I haven't really seen him play at all, but I do remember draft experts touting/praising his ability to get after the passer but questioning his ability to play the run. I recall some referring to him as a great option as a rush linebacker in a 1-gap/Pittsburgh type of 3-4 due to his speed and athleticism.

But for Carolina to already give up on him, you have to wonder how much game/talent/dedication/work ethic he really has. But the guy is only 24 years old. Maybe he was a victim of expectations as he was expected to replace Julius Peppers? Maybe he just wasn't as good as people thought. Don't know.

From the way you describe him, maybe they see him as a younger Mark Anderson. I wonder how similar their playing styles are.

He's an impoverished man's Freeny. Nearly identical games.

Where's Levoir these days? Need him back.

Re: Pats working out >

I wonder what Suh did to Vollmer. I hope this is not a presage.

Re: Pats working out >

In my opinion these seem to be due diligence/'let's check a guy out now in case of emergency later on' type f workouts. For example I would assume Moore would be re-signed before Brown would be added to the roster. Pats have multiple players dinged on the OL so it would make sense to look at some players for that unit.

Still w/ the Ravens.

Where's OxyKaczur these days?
If his body & mind are healthy, he'd make a perfect swing Tackle for us.
