I want to know where we stand after the new acquisitions.

Aiken LS
Edd LB
Gronk the II

Cuts- Dearth, Warren, Butler, Maneri- waived

who am I missing? Are we at 53 now?

Will Edd be a permanent move? We saw how it motivated Spikes and imo it would behoove us to have STRONG competition @ LB and in the DL

what is to be done w/ CB and S? CB looks good S looks shaky

Any of you roster NUTS plz chip in. You know the roster circumstances/stipulations/players on the 53 and etc... better than many of us.

The 53 is always in motion. Where do we stand now?

I am feeling this roster version :) Ihebigbo imo will not get many playing reps
So basically we will alternate 3 safeties... can all 3 play SS and FS? I heard Ihedigbo looks awful playing a position and he is a STeamer mainly

But... but... this roster is invalid by Madden 12 standards! Minimum roster requirements for FB is 1 and T is 4!! How can BB blatantly ignore the rules! ;) haha

Ihedigbo better not be getting many Safety reps or the Patriots are in for a long season. He has looked brutal in the pre-season.

Ihedigbo should be mostly a special teamer. He does do a good job blitizing (and we like to blitz safeties a lot in the sub) although I like Barrett for that role. He is a decent run support safety too, he just isnt the guy you want in coverage a heck of a lot.

Which is why I would throw the ball every time he's in there. I would replace him before Tarp. How many special teamers do we need when Ghost is going to be kicking it into the stands 90% of the time.

Or has Bill come up with the perfect high kickoff that gets guys killed inside the 10 yard line?

Did the rules for punting change, or do special teamers still particpate in the punt teams?

Dude....... watch your players. Learn them, love them.

Ihedigbo will be a ST thumper (and a damn good one), and he'll be in on blitzing plays too. You have to start knowing what roles get carved out for people. We are NOT going to start asking Ihedigbo to cover as a safety...... It's not what he does. BB will put him in a place where he will succeed. Which is in ST and at the line of attack.

You only need 3 safeties on an active game day roster (at the most).

You should list Hernandez in the middle so you make a Gronk sandwich!

The sandwich is always named for the stuff in the middle ... duh. ;)

It's actually called a "Malachi Crunch" when the reference is based from the outside, for anyone here who's old enough to remember Happy Days.

I don't think any pro football player wants to be referred to as a "STeamer" That's something you drop in Cleveland if I'm not mistaken.
