It's that time of year again, when every football reporter in America is obliged to make season predictions! There's seldom much to them, but it's fun to see the range of predictions...then look back on them and laugh after the dust clears. So if you see one of interest, please post it here. Feel free to include the standard comment of your choice:

For negative Pats predictions:
- Hater
- Jets lover
- Is more of a baseball guy/comedian/rabble-rouser/doofus than a football expert
- He just doesn't get it.

For positive Pats predictions:
- Hell has frozen over
- Great, now we're jinxed
- 13-3 and AFC champions? What a joke, no way this team loses 3 games!
- Finally, somebody gets it.

Re: Peter King thinks Pats are going to choke in the playoffs again

Unless the problem that the Pats have had with the interior of the line isn't fixed King could very well be right. The Pats look good during the regular season against the averge or better than average teams but in the last few years when they play the best teams in the playoffs the weakness of the interior of the O-Line is exposed.

The Falcons as SB winners? Yeah....no.

King could very well be right. The Pats look good during the regular season against the averge or better than average teams

Last year we dominated 3/4 of the conference championship representatives, we weren't just beating up on average/slightly above average teams, we were convincingly beating the best.

Re: Peter King thinks Pats are going to choke in the playoffs again

On ESPN radio Sunday afternoon, John Clayton has the Patriots defeating the Packers, and Freddy Coleman has the Pats defeating the Saints.

Reiss's Ten Predictions for the Pats includes 12 Wins

Ten predictions for New England Patriots' season - ESPN Boston

I think 12 Wins will be just about right; I also think Haynesworth will get more than a few sacks but 7 seems a bit high unless he makes a big change to his ways of the past few years.

I think the team will be settling on dealing with Welker's contract first then Mayo early next year.
