The annual predict the Patriots season thread.

Last year's 14-2 was a bit inflated because of the huge turnover ratio--was probably more of an 11-5 squad. This team is better, so I think we're looking at 14-2 again.

Usually, the obvious games to look at for the Pats to lose--this year, games like Pittsburgh and Philadelphia--turn out to be Patriot wins. The one exception is @ the Jets, who I see beating the Pats at least once a year until they don't.

For the other loss? The Raiders sounds right--the "surprise" loss, early enough in the season to ward off undefeated nonsense, and the kind of loss that can actually be helpful with a young team.

So, 14-2. As for the postseason, let's wait until then. ;)

14-2

NFCN - Packers (Bye)
NFCS - NO (Bye)
NFCW - Rams

We tend to struggle in Denver and I think the Eagles game will be tough (especially in Philly). We've got a good record in Pittsburgh and I think we'll beat the Jest home & away. So my prediction is:

14-2

16-0...without any doubt. There is no team in the nfl this year on their level.

Although I only have 3 L's, I pick the Patriots to go 12-4 this year. There will be another "Cleveland type" loss. If we played at KC it would be that one because we never play well there. But we don't so it will be unexpected, maybe the Bills in a snow strorm.

We lose to Pitt during the regular season then beat them in the AFCCG. That's never happened before, has it?
I think the Patriots meet the Packers in the SB and pull out an exciting win.

Division winners AFC: Patriots, Steelers, Texans, Chargers
Wild card: Ravens, Jets- Jest lose in the 1st round.

Bonus prediction: I will get a hole-in-one before the end of golf season.

12-4

We lose to Washington (Shanahan Curse),Dallas (always a tough challenge),Eagles (will probably be very good) and Jets (will take at least one of the series)

11-5 if the Dolphins beat us this Monday

Pats 16-0

AFCE-Pats
AFCW-Chargers
AFCN-Ravens
AFCS-Houston
AFCWC-Steelers/Jets

NFCE-Cowboys
NFCW-Arizona
NFCN-Green Bay
NFCS-Saints
NFCWC-Atlanta/Detriot

Patriots beat the Falcons in the SB.

I'll guess 12-4. As for what games they lose, who knows, other than you can count on at least one 'any given Sunday' game. Since I have to list which ones I'll say Miami, Oakland, Pittsburgh and the Jets, though the Eagles certainly look like they could be a tough challenge as well.

Division winners: Pats, Ravens, Texans, Chargers; Steelers and Jets are the wild card teams.

In the NFC the Eagles, Saints, Packers and Rams win their divisions, with Atlanta and Detroit as the wild cards.

Pats over the Eagles in a rematch from week 12, in front of Irsay and Polian in the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl: vs. Packers W

I'm just going to up this out there. The Pats DON'T lose at home! We aren't going to get beat by the Jests this season. I predict 13-3

I predict we go 7-9 and miss the playoffs, but get an invite to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis.

13-3, losing to the Chargers, Giants, and Eagles. We sweep the division.

19-0 Although I would rather not. Not very good health wise as the first run aged 10 years off my life.

... and the German prediction is very easy. The last year was a reloading year and we went 14-2. In 2011 we r going for a lower record like 12-4, but the team will we better in every aspect of the game.

I am booking right now the flight to my best buddy (another german die hard Pats fan) in Philly for Februar 2012 just to watch the superbowl in the US.

I went into the future, and I know for a fact that its Patriots vs cowboys this superbowl with the Pats winning a close one.

also, incase you are wondering, Jets miss the playoffs, brady gets MVP. Colts still win the divison and Vick misses 4 games, but in that 4 games VY plays lights out and takes his job.
