So for the past 7 seasons a team that finished last in the division finishes first the next season. Last year it was the Kansas City Chiefs. Who do you think it'll be this year?

Personally I think we could have a couple. Houston, Dallas, & Arizona all seem like great choices. Arizona is most likely since they are in a weak division and Kolb should be an upgrade over Derek Anderson.

I think, very quietly, the Bills have been doing things right up there for a couple of years now.

I can see them getting to 500.

I think the Texans win if Manning misses a substantial amount of time. Maybe Arizona if Kolb isn't a gigantic bust like I think he'll be. That being said, I don't think any of those teams will win their division.

Just by the fact that the Cardinals plays in the NFC West, and the last team that won that division only had a .500 winning %, should make them win this poll by default.

Houston, Dallas and Arizona jump out as top contenders. Arizona is probably the safest pick considering the other teams in their division.

Houston did not finish last. Tennessee did. They split head to head. Next tie break is head to head in division houston was 3-3 tennessee 2-4

Tied for the worst record in their division.

Arizona will.

Gotta be Houston with that division so weak at the moment. They have the makings of a decent team.

Cards easy

I always liked Kolb and I am sure he will shine in this new offense and team.

Todd Heap and Fitzy are nice new targets for Kevin

The Lions weren't last but I say they make the playoffs this year

The list almost has to be in suspension until we know more about Peyton's status, which we apparently will sometime today. If Manning is out for much of the season or is playing well below his normal form, then the only box I could check would be Houston.

However, aside from that, while I am very confident that the Pats will win the Division and come in "First," I think the team with the best chance to go from "Worst to Wild Card" is the Bills.

Houston Texans.

Only 2 of these even have a chance to get 1st in their respective divisions. Dallas and Houston. With a long shot in Denver.

-Arizona has an unproven QB and has to surpass Bradford and the rising Rams. Not gonna happen.
-Vikings are not going anywhere with McNabb.
-Bengals look like a terrible team with Rookies at many skill positions. They have a terrible Front Office and a coach who should've been fired and on top of all that they are rebuilding and thats gonna take time. Besides getting past Steelers, Ravens and a much improved Browns team? Yeah, right.
-Buffalo still has a ways to go and is in our division. Nope.
-Carolina has a bust at QB and has to get past Atlanta and New Orleans. Nope.

If we're going to include Houston then we should include all teams that finished tied for last in their division last year: Washington, Detroit and Tennesse along with the eight listed in the poll.

I would say the Bills, Bengals, Broncos, Vikings, Redskins and Panthers have the least chance of going from worst to first because either they are not that good, there are multiple teams at the top in their divisions too far ahead of them, or both. Tennessee has a new coach and new QB; the lockout hurts their chances to improve this year.

Dallas may be the best of the remaining teams but it will be difficult to leap past both the Giants and the Eagles. Detroit is in a similar situation with the Packers and Bears.

That leaves Houston and Arizona. The Texans not only have a chance, but are likely the favorites in that division if Manning can't play or is appreciably below 100%. The Cardinals have an excellent chance simply because that division is so bad. However, my guess is that the Rams take the NFC West this year; my vote goes to the Texans.
