I know it's Akron, but Mike Brewster- welcome to the Patriots.

I prefer Peter Konz (Wisconsin) to Brewster, every time I've seen him he has been awesome.

Isn't Konz a junior? I hope he comes out because this gives us another option if Brewster is picked.

Yeah, one website has him coming out in 2 years but most say if he stays injury free he should declare for next years draft instead.

If it comes to the Wisc Center and Brewster, check their 40 time and the 10 yard splits. Pats like their O linemen to be fast.

btw, if I can download the game, will make a video of all his snaps.

He did have one bad snap though. Never saw him w. a bad snap in 4 years.

And verts, too.

I checked Dan Koppen. He was a blazing 5.43 in the 40 with a 8.26 3 cone. 10 yard split was ok at 1.80. I do see the speed trend in the recent drafting of the oline but not sure it applies to center.

Did the Georgia - Boise State game this weekend and the Georgia center struggled badly against the Boise State D Line, which is veteran, but not all the big or fast.

Alabama's Vlachos had a monster game against Kent State.

Konz has a reputation of being GREAT at pulling and being the lead blocker for the RB.

A quote about it here:

• What makes Konz special is his pulling ability on sweep plays. If Wisconsin is running to the edge with a big back, it's often behind Konz.

Right now I like Philip Blake. Blake brings physicality and a mean streak to the position. His size and power allow him to knock down defenders more frequently than other centers.

The OC that made me smile this weekend was David Molk from Michigan.

Braxston Cave from Notre Dame looked decent too.

He'll turn 27 during his rookie year, but I am also a fan. Heck, I'll just take any young upgrade at center I can get!

Want me to download the game so I can work on it in Jan/Feb?
