I think the term 'man amongst boys' will become this years over used cliche when its comes to The Gronk!

This year he goes from "rookie TE" to "Elite TE".

Book it.

Oh he's elite alright, the rest of the NFL just doesn't know it yet. As if a 500 yard 10 TD rookie year wasn't good enough. Watch him top it!

I can't get over how good of a throw that was by Brady on that first TD against Pittsburgh. They show it from a few different angles starting at the 1:36 mark, but the angle from behind Brady shows it the best.

He had just started out of his break and it was an absolutely perfect throw. If he leads him another 3 inches it's incomplete and if he doesn't lead him enough by 3 inches it's deflected or intercepted.

Might be one of the best throws I've ever seen Brady make.

Notice how Gron protects the ball. Encircles the ball with his hands wrapped like a giant kielbasa. You can't coach the kielbasa move, it's innate.

Best TE in the nfl.

And as awesome as that was to watch, it doesn't even touch on any of his blocking ability. He's the kind of guy you can put out there in any situation, perfect player for a guy like Brady who takes advantages of mismatches better than any QB in the league.

Also, Brady is awesome

As much as I was impressed by Gronk, I couldn't get over the perfect throws by Brady. Perfect touch, right in stride, man he makes his receivers look good. We are so lucky to have him. No wonder the rest of the league hates the Pats. I watch him in the pocket and count 1-2-3 and you know if he gets that much time he's going to carve that D up.

It was a shame the Rechade Caldwell season. He didn't have crap to throw to. He'd get all this time in the pocket and...nothing. What a wasted season. The next year he got Moss and ...history.

I just do not understand why he didn't make the Probowl!

That just sealed the deal for me. Now I know what Patriot jersey I'm gonna get on my annual trip to Boston. So far have several Brady jersey's, a Mayo jersey, a throwback Russ Francis jersey, and not it's time for a Gronkowski jersey !

Don't be forgetting our other man Mr Hernadez
A YAC MACHINE!!!
How did the pats manage that in the same draft? lol they are unreal...friggan pinch me

I was JUST talking to my wife about that throw! And I pointed out to her where Gronk was when he made his break, and that's about when Brady starts his throw, and it's timed and placed perfectly... and the level of precision needed given how close the defenders are... WOW! (I don't think she appreciates it as much as I do, though) :D

I've always wondered what the Ravens think. They were a pick away from Gronkowksi and I think pretty much the same thing happened with Hernandez.

Given what had just happened in the playoffs, I'm sure BB didn't exactly mind screwing the Ratbirds over not once, not twice, but THREE times (GRONK, Hernandez, AND Dez Bryant).

I hated him and when we had to play against him in college. So glad he ended up a Pat.
