On the NFL network when they went over all the games Deion asked where Maroney was... Rich Eisen said he was injured... Deion then said

"i heard he was well, I heard he might be in the doghouse"

but deion is an idiot so this isn't much

I think i just wasted everyone's time.

I'm sure Deion was thinking of Gabriel. What a dummy.

Neon isn't always the brightest....

Agreed that for Neon, he's not that bright. However, we have all seen BB doghouse important people before in order to regain control and discipline from his team. Remember TJ? Sanders may have talked to someone "close to the team" such as say....Gabriel....to get some info.

Do we not believe he has a rib injury?? For a player of this caliber, who is needed in our run O, to be held back does not make a lot of sense right now. If there is a more credible source, then maybe I will start to consider it.

Not that bright? He’s done a pretty good job marketing himself…and along the way he’s made millions.
Okay, to address Neon's brightness, I don't really get too excited about a former player's ability to market himself, most of us have met individuals who have trouble gluing popsicle sticks together, yet they know just where the boss likes to be kissed and confound us with their organizational success.

Neon is an individual we are forced to watch for football insight and I for one find him annoying and rarely informative - God Bless Jamie Dukes, that little fellow is fun to watch and has something worth hearing about the game of football and the people playing it - beyond dazzling us with text message details from some player.

Bad Keegs, naughty, though it just confirms for me that Maroney does have some dings that needed a little time in the fender shop.

I heard this twice on the NFL network yesterday...about Maroney being able to play but BB using him as an example of poor work ethic.

I just blew it off because I feel one of their stupid guys makes this up and then a few of them run with it since they all love to see the Pats lose and have issues.

i heard dieon say the same thing. The only reason why i didnt take it that seriously, because in dieons tone of voice he didint sound so sure.

Haven't heard a word of this from the locals, and it's not like they wouldn't be all over a dog house story. Maroney was testy this week with the media though, breaking the code of silence about how or where or whether he is injured. That could just be a little Corey media frustration in him, or frustration with being held out by a HC intent on the bigger picture, or BB might be a tad miffed that he spoke to the injury issue at all - but doghouse and for work ethic...

That's been hinted all season about CJ - maybe Deion has his young black Patriot rookies mixed up... Deion isn't known for his unbiased or thorough pre show prep, he's there for showmanship and to make the programming if nothing else entertaining.

I guess we'll see how he looks this week, with Faulk looking to be out we should definitely see the return of Maroney.

Something went down. Hobbs was sat down last week against the Phins, Gabriel got outsted now Maroney flat out said he's not hurt. Not everything is right in Foxborough.

kinda makes you wonder huh??

Maroney never said he wasn't hurt. He said he didn't have broken ribs and a couple of other conditions. He didn't rule out injury, just ruled out specific injuries.

The ease with which the Patriots did win yesterday
without LoMo ... Watson ... Wilfork ... O'Callaghan
and maybe even throw Rodney in there ... or Jackson seeing a ball
tells me that BB, as usual, knew what he was up against and how much or how little firepower it would take to prevail.

Thus i think that most - if not all - the above COULD HAVE played against Houston
... and will play against Jacksonville.

I get the sense too that something is amiss in the lockerroom.

I would hate it if the rumors that CJ or LoMo or Hobbs have anything to do with this supposed lockerroom division. Those two kids need to be future cornerstones, not a dividing force during a stretch run.

That said, we'll have no idea who is 'at fault' in the locker room until the eventual book comes out.

Yeah, I kinda had that same inkling until last week, then I was sure. BB calling out the team, Brady calling out the team, Gabriel released though we are thin at WR, CJ not playing much, LoMo saying he can play and denying certain injuries, the O line shaving. There was a division in the locker room. Many of the newbies copped attitude, and found themselves shelved. BB has had these purges before. As I said in an earlier post, TJ, Glen, Dred-so, et.al have seen this side of the coach before. Remember, here, no matter who you are, BB will bench and or remove you from the team if you dont dance to his tune. BB's way or the highway. There is no other way!! The vets know this. Time for the newbies to guzzle the Kool-aid or face the firing squad.
