Any Given Sunday:

OK! We Get It! Any team can beat any team on any day...
that is the NFL.

Why does someone have to say "Any Given Sunday" in every single thread though..??

doesn't the whole "Any Given Sunday" thing go without saying??

I think we all understand it now....

Any team can win on anyday in the NFL... ok Got it. wrote it down.

You can stop saying it now...

I keep thinking there should be a movie about this.

yeah maybe with Jamie Foxx and LL Cool J...

LL Cool J is so tough and such a great actor....

And maybe that guy who played "Lattimer" in the Program... and maybe his big scene can be when he's taking a dump with an IV in his arm...

just maybe...

It's always a big scene when your taking a dump with an IV in your arm!

"You can stop saying it know..."

That's why you created a knew thread about it, right?

What about Monday, Thursday or Saturday?

There's probably some team that's never won on one of those days.

That would mean the theory would be specific to the day Sunday until proven otherwise negating the basic concept.

Can we say, for instance, that the Cardinals can win on any given Monday?

Maybe there's some law of the universe we're not aware of that doomed them from the start against the Bears.

Since I refuse to do any research at all on this, I assume the possibility of the Cardinals winning on any given Thursday is still conjecture.

But Sunday?..............Yes.:robot:

Why do people even say that about Football and not one of the other sports? The Yankees are gonna play the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 19 times this upcoming season. The gargantuan talent disparity says that the Yankees should win every single time, yet I'll just about guarantee that they won't. Same thing with Basketball and Hockey. All three of the other sports have things set up so that the 'any given' scenario is more likely, yet its a Football expression. I'll never understand that.

Good job! You didn't use any big words incorrectly in this post... hahahah

see? it looks a lot better when you keep it simple and use words that fit.
