Tunescribe brought up an interesting point in that Jet's suck thread (that seems to have dissappeared) that throwing his head gear should be a penalty. I can see it being overlooked if it took place on the sidelines, but he came out onto the feild of play and did it. It wasn't like he was standing on the edge either, he was out at the hash marks for chripessakes.

Robber the Jet fan would have probably docked us a draft pick if that was Belichick. He at least would have fined him. What if it careened and hit a Ref? Or a player? Players get penalized or fined for removing their helmets or acting like an idiot, why shouldn't head coaches be held accountable?

Wow, this Jets obsession has come to this?? :bricks::bricks::bricks:

Great Idea, then the nfl can be like the NBA, where you get a penalty for looking at the refs the wrong way. Thats exactly what we need, more regulations and less emotions.

You're right. Head coaches should be allowed to run out onto the feild and act like morons. Maybe he can throw mud on yard marks and throw pylons like he's Lou Pinella next.

On the sidelines is one thing, but on the field? Really?

really!!!!!

So coaches can act like idiots without fear of reprimand while players are held to a different standard of decorum. It's also nice to find out who the Rex fans are here. Thanks for outing yourself.

Rex was out of line, but you would be mad to if you knew you had no shot at winning the Superbowl. That tirade is just a preview of what is to come for the Jets this season. The Patriots are going to handle the Jets this year.

Hahaha this is one of the funniest things I've read in a while. Jets are gonna plant Brady on his ass a couple times is more like it

Hahaha. I just bought stock in Motorola. NJ is going to be spending a fortune on their products.

12 men on the field (the reason Rex was furious) has been an issue for the two seasons he's been the Jets head coach. Add in to that the fact that it was a goal line defense and the Jets have two and only two goal line teams and the guy who ran out late wasn't a part of any of them. It's been an issue for a while now.

If you include Jabba the coach it was actually 13 men on the field.
