Eli Manning thinks he is in the same class as TB12...

Mark Sanchez is a lot like Eli in that way. They're usually both mediocre to decent QBs, but somehow they step it up in the playoffs.

Actually, that's not true. Eli has never even won a playoff game outside of 07. 0-1 every other time, with a total of 2 touchdowns to 6 interceptions in 3 games. Shows how bizarre that whole 07 postseason was. The fates were against us, I guess.

You all are taking it out of context. Eli seems like a decent kid and he is a solid QB. He was giving Brady props.

OK, not going in to details of what he said. I hope you would excuse me for not believing one word the media says.

Outside of that, he seems to be a funny guy at least in Oreo commercials.

I think he's being very complimentary to Tom and showing a certain amount of respect, as well he should.

I have no problem with these guys comparing themselves to Tom, he's the bar and if they think they are at that level then as a fan of that team I'd ask Eli to do just one thing, go out there and prove it.

But he hasn't. Not even close.

If he said "I would like to think that I am in that class" or "I want to be in that class" or something along those lines then, yeah I could go along with it.

But no, Hicksville Gomer Manning doesn't hesitate in saying he's in TB's class. Ridiculous. And flatulant.

Yea, I agree. He's not, and most of the Giants Fans would agree, mainstream media would agree, hell Archie would probably even agree with you and the rest of us.

But, Like I said, if I was a fan of the Giants I'd be ok with him saying that and ask him to prove it.

As Florio pointed out this AM - He was not even on the Top 100 list........Tom was, and kinda high up there too.

aside from that comment, and going along with his dumbass father by begging sd not to draft him, eli seems like a good guy

Yeah like the Beaver on "Leave it to Beaver."

You should be thankful for that dumbass Father.

hate that bumbling clumsy ****.

Brady 4710 pass attempts = 103 interceptions

Eli 3332 pass attempts = 113 interceptions

You're not even close.

This can be unfair sometimes though, its just a number, plain black and white. Alot of his interceptions last season were the receivers fault. Tipped balls or very catchable passes that were missed on the receivers side.

Nonetheless, he's NOT close to being what Brady is but I think this value is a bit skewed sometimes.

He's in the same general class (1 of 32) as Brady.

I have no problem with what Eli said. Consider the source and take it for what it is. The kid had a horseshoe up his ***** in SB 42 combined with an amazing D-Line. When Eli made that comment the reporter should've said, "So you think you're better than your brother then?" That response would've been funny.

Who?

........

de-lu-sion-al [dih-loo-zhuh-nl]
adjective.
1. having false or unrealistic beliefs or opinions.
2. psychiatry. maintaining fixed false beliefs even when confronted with facts, usually as a result of mental illness.
Sometimes, de-lu-sion-ary.

What do you expect the guy to say? Obviously Eli isnt close to Brady, or will ever come close.

But Eli is apart of the biggest upset in Superbowl History(Like it or not). Also a Superbowl MVP. I would think Eli is a *****, if he said otherwise.

BTW: Eli Manning is a clown.

He would've just studdered, studdered some more then said "someday" :p

But I agree, his D-line won that superbowl for him mixed with a lucky sac escape. I rank Eli with the Joe Flacco's and David Garrad's of this league.... still better than Sanchize though

We all know he didn't deserve that MVP. Should of been tuck, strahan, and osi co mvps.

I think he has taken one too many ...blows to the head...Eli better start drinking heavily......

Same Class?! Yup EXCEPT Tom Brady Graduated college and Eli is still in Pre K and he obviously made that statement without submitting a urine test.
