Way to skew his words. He said Tom brady is a great QB and gets better every year, so that's what Eli wants to try to do, get better every year since he has good people around him.

"I consider myself in that class and Tom Brady is a great quarterback" Eli Manning.

They are in the same class, so am I in fact. We're all in a Phoenix Online course together.

Thats exactly what he said

The New York Giants quarterback, who does have a Super Bowl MVP award to his name, said on "The Michael Kay Show" on ESPN New York 1050 on Tuesday that he considers himself to be a top quarterback who belongs in the same class as New England's Tom Brady.

"I consider myself in that class and Tom Brady is a great quarterback

So by saying that he considers himself Brady's equal, is he saying that he is the best Manning?

lol, i was like lol

eli isn't anywhere near the class of tom brady but

i agree with eli when he says brady has gotten better every year since brady was winning superbowls

and i do truly believe eli was very worthy of being the sb mvp, i've re-watched that sb, and eli's 3rd down numbers were amazing, his stat line overall was pretty good, definitely sb mvp worthy, and his only int that game was the fault of his wr , tipping the pass to hobbs.

..hey dudes!!!..look at me..*hic*...I'm like Brady...*burp*...*splut*...

hate that bumbling clumsy ****.

Brady 4710 pass attempts = 103 interceptions

Eli 3332 pass attempts = 113 interceptions

You're not even close.

personally, I believe the only reason won MVP was because they weren't going to give it to Strahan, Osi and Tuck. The Giants Dline was the reason why they won

Eli Manning is the reason I can't cheer for the Giants, and I live in New York.

Eli's playoff run in 2007 was crazy. He threw 20 INTs that year, tied for most in the league. He only had 4 regular season games without an interception that season.

Then he gets into the playoffs and throws zero INTs while playing 3 road games and finishes with only 1 in 4 games. Of course, he should have had one more interception...Thanks, Asante:ugh::ugh::ugh:

the dline had a great game, but eli was amazing on 3rd downs, also eli succeeded on his final drive, the giants dline had just allowed the pats to take the lead

ie failing

so eli was the clutchest at the end IMO

again though, eli's 3rd down completion numbers and 1st downs on those plays was really exceptional, and his stat line keeping in mind the int wasn't even his fault, was pretty good , even better than some other sb mvp performances (such as his brother, peyton's)

i know, i know, his playoffs was amazing, and i hate the guy lol

as for the int to asante that asante dropped, i see that used to discredit eli (not saying you were) but at the same time no one really bashes joe montana for throwing a perfect int right to a cincy LB that said cincy LB drops (i swear to god, right at the cincy lb's chest lol) and then 2 plays later, montana to taylor, sb win.

again, i hate eli, and i think he's a moron for this particular i'm in brady's class" crap, but to me his sb mvp is alot more legit than others, including peyton's

Mark Sanchez is a lot like Eli in that way. They're usually both mediocre to decent QBs, but somehow they step it up in the playoffs.

Eli's not even a top 10 quarterback.

You all are taking it out of context. Eli seems like a decent kid and he is a solid QB. He was giving Brady props.

I read the article and watched the accompanying video. I agree with you that he's giving Brady props. I just maintain that Eli's not in the elite class of QBs.
