let's vote to see if we want nem a-hole to be off this forum.

I say he stays, its a forum folks your intitled to voice your opinion..

…after all, we are talking about a little biatch who was complaining about not having $$ to pay for his wife’s (who is his sis IMO) meds. That’s after 17K+ posts. I am determined to get his ass fired (or put into assclown forum). if I get banned, so be it…….

Also, judging by his web pix, he is about to kick the bucket, so may be, JUST MAY BE, we would not have to wait long to rid ourselves of his bs…..

I'm sorry, but I think you're truly the *******. Just look how angry you are just over someone else's posts. Get a life. Who are you to throw someone else's personal life into a ******* forum and make comments about their health?
Can a mod please take care of the clown who started this post.

why you would want a person who you really don't know personally hoping him to die just because you don't like his posts makes YOU the As-Ho-e.
No one in this forum is any better as a person than the other here or anywhere - If you don't like his posts use ignore..I don't think he has done you wrong and remember the old saying 'What goes around comes around' - If you have a problem with him thats fine, just don't wish someone to die - Thats an idiotic comment and childish as well...
Digger and Box don't like him either but never heard them say 'I hope you die'
Lets get back to talking football as this forum is for - not for death wishes.

NEM was here before you EVER even thought of jumping on the Patriot band wagon

He's posted a slew of controversial takes...some I agree with and some I don't...since day one when Ian first started this site...he's a die hard through and through and THAT is all that matters.

Back in the 90's I waged a jihad against the infamous Rucci and Lane, otherwise known as 4 and 6. NEM fought me tooth and nail about it but when BB took over and rid our beloved Patriots of these twin abominations, NEM was gracious and man enough to admit he was wrong in his evaluation of these two miscreant cap killers...especially when they both disappeared from the NFL shortly thereafter. Sure I was sceptical of BB when he took over, but he made ME a believer almost immediately just by eradicating them immediately.

Did I know we'd become a flagship franchise under his leadership? NO. I just knew HE knew these cruds HAD TO GO as a first order of business. Was I sceptical of his plan for the future? Yes...until I saw he made the DEFENSIVE LINE his first priority in the draft....something I've been LUSTING for since the 60's...and d%#*!@t if Bill wasn't right. Sure we have weaknesses...but I've lived through 40 years of all pro linebackers and corners and star offensive lineman, but from what I always saw in other teams is a deep and talented defensive line will cover a multitude of weaknesses even on a squad weak in the secondary and old and slow at LB.

Remeber this...sure Nellie was a great MLB and Tippet and Blackmon were as good as it gets, and secondary stars like Mike Haynes will impact other teams elite recievers...but when all you have is a Sugar Bear Hamilton and three stiffs on the DL, you WILL get beat at the point of attack and good QB's WILL successfully establish their play action and exert control in crunch time.

We've had some great offensive teams and some upper echelon back sevens for decades, but until we finally got a DOMINANT man for man down the line defensive front, we NEVER imposed OUR will on the rest of the teams in this league. THIS is why Bill Belichick is such a great coach and the best leader we've ever had. Remember, coming off 9-7 in his third year and all the gaggling, know-it-all media morons clamoring for offense, BB signed Ted Washington, to the consternation of all the Felgers and Borges...what happened?? You saw it...who gave a crap about high powered offenses and teams loaded with superstar running backs and WR's. NO ONE ran our gaps inside, no one had an answer for Willie, no one could fool Bruschi running the inside A and B gaps and all the opposing QB's just didn't have the time to set and read because our DEFENSIVE LINE dominated the matchups at the snap, especially the nose, if you guys notice...the position that requires a double team IF the D lineman is a real force.

You put Tippet and Blackmon on THIS team, we rival the 86 Bears. You play Sugar Bear Hamilton on a four man front with Warren, Wilfork, Seymour and he leads the league in sacks.Ken Sims would have destroyed single teams playing next to a Ted Washington or Vince Wilfork.

So yeah, we have problems...NEM IS a pain in the ***** about somethings...myself, I don't like the seeming ignoring of the LB corps, nor the choice of the kind of DB's we seem to prefer....BUT I sure as hell DO know that what I lusted after for 40 years sure looks like it was EXACTLY the correct direction to go in....and I'm convinced that Bill Belichick and his methods are not only effective but also productive on the highest level, that being 3 Super Bowls in 5 years.

And I'll go even further in my homeristic rant....BB starts Grogan in that 86 game, and he damn sure would have had a TE to take Dawson's spot when he got clipped and put out of the game...ANOTHER thing Patriot fans vetch about but something I see that contributes to an effective and productive O line no mtter what the conditions.

One last thing....being a diehard psycho Patriots fan since the Bo Nance days, Ben Dreith can take a flying leap. BB would have never let that crud influence that game...we were 2 TD's better than Oakland that year...easily.

in closing...enjoy NEM..be garteful we are such passionate die hard N.E. sports fans

Wow. Think what you want, take him on in as many threads as you want, but this is way over the line. The board is Ian's, not ours. Your vote isn't going to change a thing. And wishing someone would die - I'm speechless

For the record, I'm no big fan of NEM's. I respect his football knowledge and his extreme dedication to the team. Apart from that, we don't agree on much. I read the boards daily, but don't post much. That said, I don't think I've seen such a hateful thread as this one in a long time. I hope it gets deleted.

You have zero authority whatsoever to make a poll like this. Leave these things to the Admins.

this is ridiculous.
NEM has some pretty interesting posts.
and as far as i can tell, he taks a lot of personal attacks and holds up ok.
NEM dont even respond to this one.

Isn't this to be about football:confused:

I agree he has a right to his opinion. If we all had the same opinion
this site would be a ghost town.

Good grief..sad that there are rookies who come in and attack others..have zero idea of what is going on... ...ism't this a football forum??

That is not up to you, it is up to the mods to make this determination.

Many of us do not always like what NEM says, or his continual rants against his view of our inept offensive coordinators.

Without regard, for some of his stuff which many times I do not agree with, I support his right to say it.

This thread does not belong in this forum. As a mod I do not know where to move it to, though.

I will leave to Ian to decide if it should be deleted or not.

Until NEM performs a bannable offense as decided by Ian, I support his right to post on this forum.

Drew,

You need to stop with all this high shcool crap. Get a grip and post something productive. This is just absolute garbage.

Actually, it's not up to the Mods to ban or suspend anyone. We can't, and rightfully so, we shouldn't. Something like that can only be done by Ian. I've PM'd him regarding Drewwho yesterday and this morning. It's up to Ian.

I pm'ed Ian about YOUR moniker many times in the past too....something vaguely dirty about it...but he let it go....so, well...I suppose Max Schmelling ended up pretty schmessy too...so there you have it..another failed attempt by some anal retentive freak(me) to control cybersapce.

I WILL not stop however...even if it means enlisting help from AOL buddylists
